- This video will showcase you chapter 32.5 newest survivor "Lara Croft" Specialist perk. This perk grants you a token after opening up a chest (Token max cap is 3) which when you manage to hit a great skill check it depletes the gen progress by 4% (Max 12%)

About time, always seemed a waste of an offering for Killers when there was little reason to care the number of chests that spawned.

Specialist makes it look as if she's holding a shield and is ready to smack the sh*t out of a killer with a torch.
new change: survivors with the endurance status effect are granted a cool little medieval shield until it wears off
everyone’s laughing now but this, a commodious toolbox with yellow add ons, bardic inspiration, streetwise and built to last could be very affective. that doesn’t even factor in if someone also does an invocation
Which will cause the perk to get nerfed when killers hound the devs that it's not fair. I almost never see the invocation since it perma-breaks you for the rest of the match, but specialist has no punishment to use.

gens are gonna fly but then you have no anti tunnel anti slug so its not that op
@@amyhoard1222the reasons killers complain is because we literally have to bring slowdowns unless we’re playing an s or a tier killer and they nerfed every regression/slowdown and you can’t even kick a gen more than 8 times

You can use it with Fast Track
You can use the perk with perks that allow you to rummage since rummaging also gives you a token.
feel like the amount each token does should increase with the amount of tokens you have maybe
like 1 token = 4%
2 tokens = 10%
3 tokens = 18%
obv thats just like an example of what i mean, each token increases that value of the tokens by one. so each token goes from 4 to 5 to 6%
Her perks kind of blow but at least she looks good
I swear Bhvr has a rule where they can only release one good perk every couple chapters

Just another char i'd buy for the look, not the perks considering 2 of the 3 perks will be nerfed quick.
Her vault speed should be faster and she should gain a little bit of speed for a few seconds after it. Lara Croft is an icon, I think they could’ve done more with her.
The thing is, if she actually had a really strong perk people would be complaining about that too. You can never satisfy this community
0:02 Rummage too? So you could run it with Appraisal, Pharmacy or Residual Manifest to get more stacks
What if you paired this with Invocation?
I'd like to see this perk combined with brand new part + the invocation lol

Invoncation, 4BNP, All suvivors bringing Speciallist with all bringing coins and appraisal giving how many percentage off the gens total? :P
@przemyslawwasowski7450 just with everyone having 3 tokens, they can take off 32% off of 4 gens. Much more off of one but it's more efficient to do 4

I wonder if you bring hoarder 4 brand new parts and 4 chest offerings how much of a gen you can cut off
The perk is useful and I don't see why people say it's weak, it can skip a 3 gen and it has lots of values, not only are you searching a chest for an item to help with your matches but also, if you bring a toolbox with brand new part and 3 stacks, your getting more progress on the gen, just think better before saying bring a brand new part instead
You bring the perk and start to collect tokens. First, you have wasted tons of valuable time to do gens, second if you save them for the last gen, you are not allowed to hit great skill checks for the other gens you do - missing out on 1% bonus progression.
Another scenario, you collected 3 tokens and unfortunately the killer hooks you, proxy camps, and tunnels you out of the game and your tokens are gone and you did nothing to progress the objective.
It's just a massive amount of time waste, realistically. If you are not in a SWF, just don't bring the perk if you intend to win.
@@gianglai7346 I didn't mean at the start of the match, I said when you're in a 3 gen situation, then u can use the perk
think about this with Invocation: Weaving Spiders, BNP, (maybe) Potential Energy, Deja Vu, and Appraisal + 4 Shiny Coins. That's 6% with -44% or so off of the gen total with the ability to store 20%. Sure, it takes a LOT of build-up, but it could completely shatter a 3-gen
if you play against a killer with a negative IQ, yes.

Its an easier way to pressure a 3-gen which happens often with randoms. Sure its not good in a competitive sense but it would sure help solo q.
can you stack invocation, all 4 survivors run max stack (or as many as possible) specialist and 4 bnp all together to decrease 1 gen? how much % can you decrease?
it could be pretty good paired with pharmacy or something else,

Of note: This gains a token when you open OR rummage through a chest. Using Appraisal to its fullest potential with this lets you cut off up to 24% of Generators. That’s 2 brand new parts plus whatever items you get from the chests themselves. Not too shabby and makes it harder for the Killer to deplete your progress

@@antmsurvivorpokemon1 deplete the tokens and then rummage some more? I don't see where the perk description says it only activates once, seems like it would activate whenever you have tokens handy
It definitely does seem a bit helpful in maybe one or two select situations but I think otherwise you’d likely get much more gen progress just doing gens normally.

To me, this perk is amazing. Itll go well with my loot goblin build. If i get a toolbox during chests, then itll add up in the end for me.
I actually think this has a pit of potential, if you don’t bring a part or use it early on for a gen, this could help break 3 gens
Can you use it only once? Can you stack the effects on the same gen multiple times?
It's a token based perk and as long as you have tokens you can use it as much as you want
this can be good for countering 3 gens
4 brand new pieces + 1 invocation + 4 specialist = WTF !!!!!
Or use it with invocation, this perk and brand new part and you’re good to go.
Pretty sure compliting 12 charges takes MUCH less time than going around the map looking and opening 3 chests.

So if every survivor runs Specialist and Appraisal, a possible 48% can be taken off a gen
of 1 gen, and assuming there are enough chests for everyone to search, at the same time so it will take 3-5 minutes of them doing nothing to progress the game and the killer must be afk or blind to achieve that.
Such a broken op perk.

That takes of 12%. The BNP takes another 10%. The invocation, now fast as lightning, takes 10%.
You are through FOUR GENS in like two minutes.
So: This is definitely going to be nerfed through the floor.

Honestly I think someone trying to get value from this perk would be a LOT better for the killer rather than the survivors. Like I think survivors going out of their way for 4% progress instead of doing gens as much as possible could contribute to the killer succeeding more than they otherwise would have. So yeah I think you should be okay :>

That doesn’t answer the question. It’s still 12% from 3 tokens. It doesn’t say you can’t get more.
miss info: it grants 5% gen progress, not 4
You are not taking other things into account. If your lobby has any more than 3 items (especially flashlights) your chances of running into Franklins increases. Specialist (esp if paried with some synergy perks) gives you "something" you want, while avoiding the Franklins also. This also gives you "some" mitigation on wasting time opening chests/w the built in Brand New part at 12% and it can be used on certain gens/maps that are really killer sided or 3 gen situations. This can esp be strong in SWF.

Dude, what do you mean another not so great perk? This perk is thoroughly busted. All survivor has to do is pair this perk with appraisal and they get two tokens for free with no downside. And if they have a brand new part, that’s more than 18% of a generators progress completely gone. For fuck’s sake bhvr, did we not learn from scavenger?

it would only be decent if it was a 4man swf using coins that stealth the start of the match while collecting tokens and do it before anyone gets hooked. otherwise your better off bringing a normal gen rush toolbox build
these perks that remove time from the gen are only to counter killers holding a 3 gen bhvr has done so many changes to try and stop this but its basically failed. none of those types of perks are good
The alternative is the survivor actually does a gen instead of a useless sidequest chest
