Enjoying the video; night time navigation. Surprised there is overtaking in such a narrow channel! Thanks for sharing what it's like. Very educational.
Thanks for the interesting videos. I follow up on about 9 cargo ships (communicating with the captains, arranging/following up on everything crew related), it's nice to see things from the other side. :)
Thank you for great video. I had enjoyed similar rush moments onboard a tiny 32feet sailing yacht while crossing largest container schips busy English channel traffic lines. (Netherlands -> UK -> Netherlands).
Got a few questions: 1) Why is the chart in "North Up" setting, and zoomed way out? 'Course Up' and zoomed in would allow us to visually identify the passing ships on the chart. 2) What is call-sign of the 203k bulk carrier?
Thanks for such a great job!
Good opportunity for everyone to feel the atmoshpere 👍

Good Video!
Good day Captain…minimum safe distance from other vessels in such situations? And how long to stop a vessel at 10 knots?
Hey Capt, I just wondering, what did You tell to your Officer to do. I cannot understand, is that find the current where they are going to ?
Direction of active currents for moment
During this passage sir, is it on auto pilot or manual steering held by helsman?
manual is must for accurate change of course in heavy traffics
