I went to the Rammstein stadium tour in 2019 and it was absolutely great! I am 2018 diagnosed with a rare, incurable and rapidly progressing neurological disease. I have known that it will probably be my last Rammstein tour. Three friends almost "carried me there" and I was afraid I wouldn't make it. But I made it and I am incredibly grateful! Afterwards we were told that there would be additional shows and we immediately bought tickets (which wasn't easy) for next year. Somehow I'll make it! And for Berlin, which is always gigantic, it is Rammstein's hometown. My friends will drag me there anyhow. My disease is similar to ALS and is called multiple system atrophy. Then came the stupid Covid epidemic and the tour was postponed 2 years in a row. And then I couldn't go anymore.... I had to sell my ticket with a heavy heart - which was gone in 5 minutes. In the meantime ZEIT came out, and when I heard the song for the first time, I cried - it was like written for me!

The singer Till Lindemann is an actual poet who has had 3 books published.Till is an expert in taking words and combining them together to have more than one meaning. Some of the lyrics that he writes come from his own poems and he also draws inspiration from classical German literature Poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Heinrich Heine.
I agree he is a classical musician and a special wordsmith of a calibre not heard before. It could unite everyone because he has changed the German language for a noble cause. Good man.
Great reaction! Don't apologise for having an emotional response, that's what they were going for. I have cried along with so many their songs, even not that touching as "Zeit". So it is really ok. They have slow, touching songs like this one, they have fast, heavy songs with very serious lyrical topics and they have a bit silly (sexual) songs, so they have it all, but their lyrics are almost always very deep and poetic. I don't know what I could recommend now... maybe back to their live stuff and try "Ich tu dir weh" or "Sonne" maybe another official video, like "Mein Herz Brennt" or "Deutschland". Well, I don't know, I could probably recommend 1/3 of their songs, especially live performances, but you can do only one at time, so... 😂 Sorry, I am just very excited to see you liking "Zeit". Big misconception about german is it's a strict, hard almost militaristic language. But I never read such beautiful poetry like in german. I never encountered such use of different words for the same things, the double and triple meanings of one word. The rhythm some word in a poem give that poem. It's something Rammstein uses a lot too. After all, they call it the country of poets and thinkers
I just found your channel and started go through your reactions. I really love what you said, that you are sorry that you earlier judged Rammstein without really knowing their music. I "found" Rammstein just a couple of weeks ago myself and I'm blown away of the music. So many beautiful songs and the lyrics are just wow.... I'm 50 years old, German native speaker and I was like you... thought Rammstein just makes "Noise"! So happy I found your channel. 😊❤
I saw that video 'live' on RUclips when Rammstein released it, in April, and the only thing I could thought back then, being a huge fan of the band, was that it wasn't the video/song that I expected, but it was what I needed. A true masterpiece. And it hits me everytime!
Rammstein's lyrics are profound even in the hard songs. Mostly with double meaning. Another song you will like if you like this one is "Ohne Dich" ("Without You") ruclips.net/video/Evu9Lk9nfZw/видео.html with English subtitles. There are songs that you have to see live, because of the show and there are songs since the official music video is perfect for the story telling. Rammstein is and remains a live band. These videos, like here, are just the exception to the rule.
"Rammstein is and remains a live band. These videos, like here, are just the exception to the rule." I would object here and say they stand out in both. Yes they are one of the most unique and best live band in the world, but at the same time their music is primarily story focused instead of the focus lying on their instrument and craftsmanship. This story focus lends itself perfectly for music videos and they have done a marvelous job in most of them. With such great and fitting videos such as for Ich will, Ohne dich, Keine Lust, Rosenrot, Pussy(fit the theme very well :p )+ all the videos for the last two albums it is hard for me to say "They are more of a live band" when you could just say "Damn, they are great in both".
@@TheDerMiku Of course, rammstein story is focused, but I don't need the music videos for that. But many of your videos don't do much in terms of story, so I don't need them. As a German, I understand the texts and what is meant. Anyone who does not speak German can usually not conclude from the music videos and is even more confused afterwards than before. Experienced 1000 times. People have more of it to see live. With a stage show in a class of its own. With "Mein Teil", for example, you can't do too much with the video. This song live and you immediately know what it's all about. As I said, I'm talking about meaningful videos that reproduce the story of the song as much as possible for people who don't know what is being sung.
Ohne Dich is certainly a good example of Rammstein's softer and more emotional side. The first time I watched the video I sobbed! (To be fair, the story in that video is exactly the kind of story that always gets to me 😅)
I was educated in a Maria Montessori School. One of the main sentences from her is "help me to do it by my own". That is exactly what Rammstein is doing. The help to think by your own, to feel by your own, to see by your own. This is the only thing which is able to bring you forwards. This is real art.
I want to thank you for being one of the very few male reactor that didn't look shocked or horrified when they show the scenes of the women giving birth. I was already expecting to see a look of disgust or some comment on how they shouldn't show that. So thank you very much for being a mature adult
I sometimes love to start at "Du Hast" again and take this journey with you again. It is a pleasure watching you react to Rammstein. From denying to it is ok to loving and now I get the feeling Dominika loves Rammstein more than Andrej - awesome progression, awesome Reactions as always. I am a divorced father, who is not able to see his kids very often. I just drove them one hour away to their mother, next time i will see them in february. My daughter is about the same age as the girl at the end of the video. Watched it like 40 times minimum - still can't do it without tears. Do not get me wrong please - but seeing, how Dominikas eyes are getting wet in the same moment I am bursting out in tears means very much to me. I love all of your reactions, but this is probably my most watched one. THANK YOU, you are what I always dreamt about - I hope, I will find a relationship like you two have. Please do not hold back your emotions. I myself "discovered" Rammstein a few months ago - being german I know them since their beginning, but i was a Hiphopper and Rapper, Guitars werent my thing - so I just ignored them. But since a few months I regret a lot of things - This is the best music, the best band, the best ART ever. Thank you again for reacting to it! I cannot get enough of you two!
We read your message and it made us very emotional! But in a good way, so thank you for that! Music brings people closer! Thank you again for your beautiful words and for joining us on this journey! Hope you'll find what you are looking for. All the best! 💚
@@MerchantOfAlba wow thank you for reading and commenting on this! And you are definitely right! I love your reactions to Rammstein and i dont know why, but they help me a lot! You two are awesome! all my love to you! I know all of the songs you are reacting to already - but it always helps me, to get to the point when i discovered this. And I as a 34 year old man had to cry a lot - so I am not happy about you being sad - but I see myself in the exact same moment and it makes me easy with feeling with you again through the "first discovery". You two are awesome! Thank you a lot for sharing this.
You know your zeit reaction is the best I have ever seen. you are the first that didn't react like a fool in the birth scene. rammstein are so charismatic !!! once you like them then there is no turning back. you just have to be open minded with them because when they want something to say they say it. every song has a meaning and a true story to tell. even the heavy and hard ones even the happy and fun ones. what you see is not always what it is. you started with zeit so continue with deuchland then so many other songs.....they give music for 25 years maybe more....
I couldn't agree more...especially about your birth scene comments. How ridiculous that many reactors felt the need to blur out the mothers! And that in a song about life, time, death and birth. But most of those reaction channels are run by Anglos who easily feel threatened by the human - and especially the female - body. Let's be glad Rammstein are made of sturdier stuff!
@@darrylrotrock7816 I first met them in 1997 in the movie lost highway and that was it...... I was amazed. I seen them live in 2010 and I hope to see them again. I have seen reactions where people laugh in zeit and I get so mad....
@@SPYROSSPAP These were some of the dumbest remarks I've heard: One guy reacted to "Links, 2 3 4" and said Till and Richard looked like Nazis, and probably were. The other one was by this couple who reacted to "Frühling in Paris". Believe it or not, they couldn't figure out why French people would attend a Rammstein concert. "But they're German! And here they are in France! I don't get it." I wrote a sarcastic comment...about how the Stones have performed in Italy and Rush in Japan...very shocking! Where did you see them in 2010? I am stoked for the upcoming concert in Philadelphia. I had tickets for a closer venue last year, but the rescheduled dates are not in all the same locations as they were last year.
@@darrylrotrock7816 everytime I see a bad reaction that has no meaning thumbs down right away!!! I am from Greece so in 2010 they came in Athens for the first time. I was there and it was amazing. Unfortunately they never came back but I saw their 2023 European tour and Athens is in and I am so excited!!!! I hope they come cause their getting older 😁😁😁
Thank you for your reaction. I also can't find any words. I discovered this band few weeks ago. And this music captivated my like the music dramas of Richard Wagner ... Rammstein are like therapists for me: "Deutschland", because I'm german, "Mein Herz brennt" (reflexes my childhood), "Angst" (paralyzed me all my life), "Zeit" (pondering about it since my childhood). That's the reason I always listend to (classical) music all my life and studied philosophy and theology to find answers of so many questions. Listening to Rammstein I feel freed from all the tight shackles to breath ...
„Zeit“ (time) Three creatures of destiny are named: their names are Urd (fate), Verdandi (that which is to come) and Skuld (guilt; that which should be). Their names are considered to be Norse equivalents of common medieval notions of time in the form of personifications of the past (Urd), present (Verdandi) and future (Skuld). The song deals with the theme of death and the transience of life. These motifs are expressed within the video through various images and metaphors. At the beginning, when the band members are drowning in the sea, Lindemann sings about the river of time, in which all people are trapped. This metaphor is visualized by the drowning in the video. In the war scene, where children first play war and later a battle actually takes place, the band sings about the inability to stop the future: "You can't summon the future, you don't tolerate a stay". In the same place where children used to play, they now die in war. The song expresses the wish that the beautiful moments as children should always last. The women who give birth to their children at the Sandstrom represent the cycle of time. In the same place where the dead daughter will later appear, children will also be born. The farmer and his daughter are separated in a moment that seemed perfect for them. The father tries to stop his daughter, but fails. Accordingly, he mourns the moment. The character in the video is clearly identifiable as Death by the black cloak. However, the video also equates it with the concept of time, as the passage of time means everyone has to die at some point. Referring to the band, some fans and journalists suspect that Zeit could be Rammstein's last album, which could be another meaning of the album and song name.
Great analysis. But the creatures are godesses and not of destiny but rather of fate! ...Makes a huge difference in terms of the songs meaning. According to the all the Plato and Goethe references they are most probably the Moirai or the Parcae and not the Nornes, but that might be like splitting hairs...
@@sarcasticconsultant378 Rammstein is proud of their mythology. I don't think they would put in mediterranean gods and consepts, though the theme of three women (maiden, mother and crone) are prevalent in many cultures. Rammstein uses germanic fairytales, and Germanic concepts, it seem very important to them.
I want to second a recommendation- Deutschland is a masterpiece in music, art and cinematography. And also a lesson in German history. Also there no video but if you want to check another beautiful song by Rmmstein I can recommend Klavier. Or a video one Ohne Dich. Their videos are like mini movies.
impossible not to feel the power , the music, the lyrics and the message.... absolutely one of my top songs by this outstanding artists...thank you rammstein

Wenn ihr tief traurig seid hört dieses Lied, mich baut das auf! Rammstein war genial und sind genial!! In Wort, Musik und Bild!! Und dann noch auf Deutsch..... Weltweit!!!! Friedensnobelpreis verdächtig!!!! Grüße aus Deutschland
funny thing is that this song is about the most normal thing: time! you cant stop it... birth, life, death. everyone knows the way. but put this in pictures it makes you crying
Zeit is something else, I'm glad you appreciated it. As others recommend, "Deutschland" would be a good follow up. Mind you, not all their songs are as deep or melancholic at face value. Though they always contain a message, some are unapologetically silly, rude or disturbing, if you're not used to the band. Rammstein love to challenge our limits.
I finally got to see them live a couple weeks ago. I've been to many shows by many artists in many genres, but nothing in my experience prepared me for Rammstein live. Just amazing.
For me, this music video is a true piece of art. The music and the lyrics in combination with the visuals are the most touching and beautiful way to describe transitoriness I can imagine.... Incredibly beautiful. Thank you for your reaction.
I am a 60 year old guy and saw them last week live. During that song I had also tears in my eyes, because the are so right. Time is so fast running, life is so fast running and so fast gone.
Please dont ever say sorry for pausing the video. We're here to hear your views. This song in particular means alot to me, and having you dig deep and analyze it, is why im here.
Same here, there is so much emotion in this song - especially if it is sung with THE PERFECT VOICE - I guess NO ONE else could or should sing this one. Right now the tears are coming again ... as always ...

Have a look at their absolute opus perfectum; Deutschland. a song about the love/ hate relationship that Germans have with their fatherland..needs a bit of research first though. Keep in mind the band came from East-Germany, there is some influence there..
This was such a beautiful, heart felt reaction. Thank you both for recognizing the genius that is Rammstein and Till Lindemann. He is the greatest lyricist, poet, performance artist, etc. Please watch piano version Mein Herz Brennt. It's powerful, too!
The best reaction for Zeit - because of two beautiful people that are emotional as they should be while watching this video... and btw, you don't talk too much, not at all :)
thank you so much! I've see and listened to the song before, but seeing you react to that video the way you were gave me a whole other level of appreciation for it. So in a way, it was like seeing it for the first time - but this time with my heart, too. not just with my eyes. thank you!
I've watched quite a few videos over the years, and reactions as well. and this is the best & most powerful video ever for me, and the reaction lives up to it. You two are amazing, especially because you're real & authentic, and interact so well together.
Thanks for your Reaction! The Song "Zeit" is my favorite Song at all time i´m hearing Rammstein. It´s very emotionally to me, because i´m lost my Mother in October 21. All the Sudden, she died in the Age of 55. She´s going to Bed and never wake up again. six days before, i´ve seen und hug her the last time, didn´t know, that´s the last one forever. So the third verse ( in the Video, the Scene with the Farmer and his daughter) hits me so much and i have to crying too. Greetings from Buxtehude, Germany
Till Lindemann is a publishing poet to this day. He says writing poetry is easier for him than writing lyrics. His father was also a well-known German poet. I liked the ornate sand castles at the end of Zeit. 🔥
I cry every time I see this video and I also cried listening to the song on the show. ❤ They say that this song makes you live the emotion that you are feeling the most in some way.

I saw that video 'live' on RUclips when Rammstein released it, in April, and the only thing I could thought back then, being a huge fan of the band, was that it wasn't the video/song that I expected, but it was what I needed.
A true masterpiece. And it hits me everytime!
Ohne dich, is a awesome Video too. Very sad, but on the other side, very emotional..greetings from nothern Germany 🤘
Servus, ja, Mutter auch, haben die beiden auch gut "reakted".
@@vib7424 Moin, gucke mal. Gruss aus Norddeutschland 🤘
Rammstein are pure art , just amazing thank you 🙏
You are truly lovely people. Thanks for your reaction to this masterpiece.
Where art and music comes together
Rammstein's lyrics are profound even in the hard songs. Mostly with double meaning.
Another song you will like if you like this one is
"Ohne Dich" ("Without You")
ruclips.net/video/Evu9Lk9nfZw/видео.html
with English subtitles.
There are songs that you have to see live, because of the show and there are songs since the official music video is perfect for the story telling.
Rammstein is and remains a live band. These videos, like here, are just the exception to the rule.
"Rammstein is and remains a live band. These videos, like here, are just the exception to the rule."
I would object here and say they stand out in both.
@@TheDerMiku
Of course, rammstein story is focused, but I don't need the music videos for that.
(To be fair, the story in that video is exactly the kind of story that always gets to me 😅)
She is so beautiful. His sensitivity is wonderful. She must write. I think it would be touching to hear it.
"ohne dich" is also a beautiful song with a beautiful video. please react to this rammstein song with subtitles 🙂
I was educated in a Maria Montessori School. One of the main sentences from her is "help me to do it by my own". That is exactly what Rammstein is doing. The help to think by your own, to feel by your own, to see by your own. This is the only thing which is able to bring you forwards. This is real art.
Yours is the best comment out there. Thank you.
That's beautiful! Thank you! 😍
Welcome to the RAMMSTEIN Family ❤❤
it is so Beautiful to see how she struggles with her Tears. This is how much Music and Video can Touch you.
You are doing very well. Keep up the good work! And please, more Rammstein videos ;)
You know your zeit reaction is the best I have ever seen. you are the first that didn't react like a fool in the birth scene.
rammstein are so charismatic !!! once you like them then there is no turning back. you just have to be open minded with them because when they want something to say they say it. every song has a meaning and a true story to tell. even the heavy and hard ones even the happy and fun ones. what you see is not always what it is.
you started with zeit so continue with deuchland
then so many other songs.....they give music for 25 years maybe more....
"i can not talk" 😇🥰 even as a german, this happens to me often when i hear rammstein lyrics.
Great reaction guys! This is my favorite video of all time really, have not seen any better in my 53 years in this world! More please! 🙂
„Zeit“ (time)
Three creatures of destiny are named: their names are Urd (fate), Verdandi (that which is to come) and Skuld (guilt; that which should be).
Beautiful reaction. It was pleasure to watch this. Thank you.
For me it is one of the, if not the best song they ever made. ...
Realy great reaction.
I love your energy and how careful you are with each other. 💚
i found your channel very late but you 2 are the BEST such sweet people both of you, love from the US
I keep watching reactions because I want to relive my first time I saw this video.
Schön, euch beiden zuzuschauen. Sehr sympathisch.
You two are amazing. It was a treat watching you react to this piece. ❤
The man loosing his child hits me so hard every time.
The man is the Bass-Player Oliver Riedel from Rammstein, atleast he plays this role of a dad in the video :D
Because a woman losing a child is fine...
So glad you reacted to Zeit. It has me in tears every time. Such a magnificent and important song. Good reaction from you both!
"Deutschland" from rammstein has the best music video ever on youtube. Worth cheking out
Time ist so much better..! Best Vid of all Times..!
Loved your reaction.
impossible not to feel the power , the music, the lyrics and the message.... absolutely one of my top songs by this outstanding artists...thank you rammstein
Ich kann einfach abschalten bei diesem Video keinen Stress mehr
Only few songs manage to bring my emotionally strings to resonating frequency. This one does.
Beautiful reaction to this song ..I cried watching the premier and to this day including your reaction whenever I watch it...they( Rammstein) are just on a whole different level when it comes to the music and videos! Thank you so much ..love you two!!
Im not crying,, You du !!
Apart from the live videos, every second of a Rammstein video is a deeply thought-out part of a total work of art.
Love your reactions allways.
Every video of Rammstein is a work of art. In combination with the songs they are really special
These men spend much of their earnings into presenting their next offering, be it audio, video or the live stage!👍🤘😎🔥🖤
This is my new favorite reaction chanel! Im going to spend this morning watching your videos. Thank you!!
Thank you for this great reaction..... More Rammstein please💕.... watch the official video "Ohne dich", that's a nice video too......
You are both so genuine, it truly touched me. Thank you for that out of time moment
I was crying with you guys! :'3 Thanks for this beautiful reaction to a beautiful song!
Best Reaction channel on youtube....
Same here, there is so much emotion in this song - especially if it is sung with THE PERFECT VOICE - I guess NO ONE else could or should sing this one. Right now the tears are coming again ... as always ...
OMG when i first heard this song and saw the video I was crying 😭 I cried alot the first few times i watched this video and this still hits me hard my eyes still get teary 😢 its just so beautiful 💖 and Tills voice 🤗💓 so deep and strong but still soft and gentle at the same time😍💕
Have a look at their absolute opus perfectum; Deutschland. a song about the love/ hate relationship that Germans have with their fatherland..needs a bit of research first though.
So in a way, it was like seeing it for the first time - but this time with my heart, too. not just with my eyes. thank you!
Rammstein "Lügen" is my favourite song from the new album.
It´s very emotionally to me, because
i´m lost my Mother in October 21.
Es tut mir so leid. Aber sie hat bestimmt gewusst, wie lieb Du sie hast, und das ist das Wichtigste. Gute Gedanken aus Maryland.
@@darrylrotrock7816 Dankeschön
Listen to the last 2 seconds of the credits then you'll hear the one thing that life begins and ends with.
@merchant of Alba as a German American I about tear up every time hearing this song
