    This video definitely motivated me! I was so close on giving up on my lash business, because of how slow I’ve been lately. Just in the month of May, I’ve booked two clients compare to the past months I would be booked almost for the whole month. You made this video in a such perfect time. I really thought it was me and my business and that my clients were just not interested anymore. Thank you so much for this and your advice!

    Girl, I do definitely feel like the lash. Industry is slowly dying because of these lash clusters. I myself am a lash artist, and I tried the clusters, and they are tacky. They never dry. So, you have to think about what type of bacteria is getting stuck in your lashes if you're keeping those on for 2 weeks. I honestly don't know why anyone where to use them, but I mean, I guess I do get it. They are cheap, but personally, they are not for me. Anyway, thank you so much for the video love you as always!!!!

      I feel like the bad lash techs are what's dying, not necessarily for the ones who care about their clients and do value the industry. There is a huge difference between a lash tech and a lash artist, and what's dying is the girls coming in thinking they can make money fast and take advantage of people. I honestly believe this is a wake-up call for the industry, and it'll force us to do better and become stronger. So even though there's a slow down, I believe it's going to pick up and just bloom. Yes, cluster lashes are on the rise, but those girls who have seen the damage that cluster lashes have done they are going to drop them and probably seek out a professional. I understand that money is an issue for a lot of people, but it doesn't mean that they should cancel our industry because they can't afford us. Lash extensions were never intended for the masses. It's a luxury service, just like facials and massages, and getting our hair done. We put our money into what we consider of value to us and if lash extensions isn't in the budget then why are we making a big deal out of it let alone getting made at the artist trying to make a living off of their skills. Since I'm allergic to extensions, I use clusters once in a while, and you're right. They are tacky and sticky, and if not put on correctly, they will come off. They weren't made for long wear, so imagine the damage these girls are causing, not even that, the bacteria that's forming on their eyes. I make sure to clean my clusters every night because, as a lash artist, I know that even one day of not washing your lashes bacteria is already forming. So these girls are nasty for going 2 weeks like that. There's no way that clusters will completely take over and just as fast as they came and tried to take over. People are going to drop them just as fast, too. It's just a trend. Only the broke girls will continue to use them and keep causing damage and keep bashing the industry mainly because they can't afford our luxury service. The industry should hold their head high during this time and show girls how valuable our industry is. Doesn't matter if you're a beginner, intermediate or advance artist. You have nothing to worry about. Just focus on your craft.

    I agree with everything you said. I love everything about lashes and even strips when I want something really quick and will be removing that night. However, Lash extensions are here forever, I have been very slow, but after using cluster lashes, ITS DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME! I only keep clusters on for no more than three days at most. Im in this for the long haul, and I may not be where I want to be, but Im going to keep pushing. Yoyis, you're amazing and a great inspiration to me! Im late getting to listen to this, but you dropped so many gems in this video. I loved this!! Thanks lovely❤❤

    Thank you so much for this video very encouraging. I’m going to start school soon to be an esthetician. But I want lashes to be a main focus but also want to be able to do more. I’m completely new to this so once I get some supplies and get use to products I will be signing up for your courses! From this video I’ve learned I need to target a higher up clientele my kids go to a rich school so I definitely see potential. 😂 thank you again.

    Lash tech here. It seems like it to me or everyone has there lash tech already. But for some reason now after being in the industry for 8 years now I’m struggling with retention again! Humidifier is on, lashes are cleaned with a foam cleanser and lash primer. Could the client just have extra oily eye lids? Help! 😢

      @lisamarie2987 if your ac is off what's your room temperature and humidity at?
      If you're only experiencing it with one client it can be that she's experiencing a shedding season. Have you asked her about her lifestyle and how she is with aftercare?

    Hi everyone I have a question I have to have a cosmetology or Estethician license to become a eyelashes tech with the certificate in order to open a home studio. Please if someone can aswer my question thanks

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  14 дней назад

      You need your esti or cosmo license regardless if you work in a salon or from home. Especially if you're working from home you need to take extra precautions because techniqually you're not supposed to. I recommend you look into your state laws or regulations depending on your zone area and see if it is required. Most states do require you to have your license. But most of us take a training first, see if we like it and, work from home to build our clientele until we can afford to go to school and get our license and then get a studio. I recommend you look into everything before you take the leap and look at your laws and regulations and see what's the beat option for you.

    What do you think about uv lash?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Месяц назад

      There haven't been too many studies done, and it's so new to the industry that we don't fully understand the side effects that a uv light can have on someone's eyes. The same with nails, so much research has finally came out that the uv light is Killing cells and over a period of time you are exposing yourself to getting cancer so imagine what we will cause to someone's eyes in the long run. I don't feel comfortable using that system until there is an actual 100% guarantee that there is absolutely no damage long term. On top of it too, the main marketing scheme to selling the uv light is "better retention." But I've come to find out that the retention is the same using regular adhesive. Retention comes down to skill and placement, not the products you use. So, if your goal is to better your retention, then focus on your placement.
