Good job 👍. I like it a lot. I don't have any questions for ya just lettin' ya know that I like the 5 speed swap. I'm in the middle of a 5.0 ranger swap and there's no chance in hell an automatic is going in my truck. I'm glad to see people are doing more 5speeds these days.
What are you missing? I got mine running 2 weeks ago and have since put dual exhaust on. And replaced front driveshaft since the boot tore. Gotta get custom shafts for the 4406
Sounds fkn good I hear the clicking probably the ac clutch?… other than that looks and sounds good man wish my 93 was like this … this how I personally want my pickup to be

Wanting to do this swap in my 1991 explorer. Same frame / TTB layout as your Ranger but different body ( obviously ) as your Ranger but the same as a 1995 and newer Explorer ( i.e. the ECU mounting into the firewall, AC box layout, battery location etc.. What oil pan and motor mounts did you use for the swap and how much room between the water pump pulley and the 4.0 radiator? Did you try the 5.0 or 4.0 clutch fan for fitment? I live in Arizona so removing the A/C, relocating the radiator forward, or only using an electric fan for cooling is not an option with the 120* summers I live in. How's that working? I've got a 98 4x4, and a 97 5.0 explorer.. I'm pretty annoyed with all the work just to get it out.. but, the clutch switch, and rev limit??
I did the explorer center console swap and have been trying to figure out what shift boot to use, which one did you use. Was it out of the f150 and if so did the f150 already need some kind of a console or did you just modify one that went to the floor? Thanks
Brevan Hansen it was out of an 07 f150 2wd. No center console or anything just the boot that goes on the floor. Just took the cubbies out of the console in mine and made this one fit.
