Next thing we will know, Espen and Eldrim will be hanging out with the Mongolian Throat Metal bands. I can see a lot of cross pollination happening here. :-)
Mmmm, can't wait to hear what you have in store for us! In the Kvile album, there are so many interesting and subtle details, from the different instruments; ones you don't pick up until you hear each track several times. From this clip, though - I love the neverlur and the kinda haunting sound of the rams horn
Jouhikko , horse hair fiddle , nyckelharpa , such lovely instruments, i truly wish to have the privilege of playing one of them even though i dont know how , beautiful instruments, amazing job , a hardingfele would sound awesome with a nyckelharpa
Can we get the album to Spotify or Google Play? I mean I don't personally use Bandcamp but damn I would love to listen to your music at work and everywhere else.
@@ELDRIMmusic the plucked and strunmed melodies come from that instrument too?? I couldnt figure out what it was. I figure it was some time of harp, but my ears failed me! Thank you!
Just Espen casually making a GODDAMN NYCKELHARPA. This is dedication
Thank you very much ! :)
A collection of fine sounding instruments!

Where can I find proper instructions to build some of those lovely instruments? That Taglharpa is particularly interessting.

Eldrim as a band will not include throat singing in their repertoire, but individually you might hear us do lots of various stuff in the future 😉🎶

Forgive my ignorance and perhaps i missed it in a previous video. But what is the stringed instrument in Atterganger, and at the beginnging of Uår ?
It is a taglharpa (bowed lyre with strings made of horse tail).
@@ELDRIMmusic the plucked and strunmed melodies come from that instrument too?? I couldnt figure out what it was. I figure it was some time of harp, but my ears failed me! Thank you!
The plucked and strummed instruments are lyres.
Geez. How do you play the nyckelharpa? It sounds good, but it looks extremely clunky...
The same way I play taglharpa, jouhikko, fiddle etc. I find it more comfortable.
Eldrim your hear ??🤔
