I'd put the chopped hay in and then the blend with minerals, yeast or whatever is in sml quantities, silage last as it mixes better. You could even do a premix of hay and blend twice a week to save time.
Good one Dan, I noticed that you take the grab off then put the bucket on to get the cereal mix into the mixer. I find it painful changing over attachments mid mix so I cut an IBC inner that fits into my sheargrab so I can transfer meals and minerals to the tub feeder. Our farm takes all meal from the mill in tonne bags, we don’t grow any of our own and don’t bulk tip ration on the floor. That’s a nice mixer wagon by the way.
The age of a Keenan does not matter the mixing quality is always superior to auger mixer. Until 2 years ago we had the 5th Keenan imported to Germany from 1989 in use and had many demos due to breakdown the drop in feed intake varied between 15 and 25% depending on the manufacturer (verified via vehicle scale)
And thank you for the video Dan, definitely good service from the dealership especially pulling the stops 👍, are we going to have your annual Christmas speech video soon to ?.🙂🎄👍
I hope so Dan, it's been a crappy year for all of us.... Again!!!! But at least we'll shall not be defeated on the farming front committee, especially the moron who lives in a house number ten and looks like Doctor Beaker in the Muppet Show.🙄🤡👍
Looks like it would fit in well on your family farm, best wishes and Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year😊
Merry Christmas to you and your family from Cornwall

Good demo, Dan. Out of curiosity, could that handle 3-4 silage bales. As opposed to clamp silage. 👍
We didn't get to try any bales, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
Yeah chopped bales work best but cutting in half with shear grab saves a lot of mixing time.
Good feeder Dan.
Typical Irish Strength.
Is the feeder for round bales and also less sophisticated than other tubs.
Nice to see you
Merry Christmas 🎁
Good looking and performing machine Dan 👍 and good walk round and video of machine at work 👌
Happy Christmas
