I was born and grew up in Arkansas, and was converted to the gospel at 16. Went on to serve a mission and eventually moved away from Arkansas but I have family still there. This new temple in Arkansas is just so beautiful and will bless the lives of so many people there. I'm very happy to see this happen.
My 2nd g grandfather and his family joined the church and lived in Arkansas. They immigrated to Utah but many or my distant cousin still live there. I hope some of them will tour and feel the spirit so will take the missionary discussions and join! Even though I have never been there, I was thrilled wben it was announced!

Beautiful building. I saw it from a distance when I was in Bentonville recently, and I was invited by a young missionary to attend the open house, but I told him regrettably that I would not be in town for the event. Surely this Temple will lift the spirits of all Arkansans past and present, whether they have trekked to Utah or remained at home.
