Hacker is most definitely one of the strongest perk decks in the game. It's one of my personal favorites because it makes DSOD feel manageable once you get the hang of the perk deck. What do you guys think? :)

Keep in mind, the speed pull mag was nerfed to now effect concealment. You might have to move around attachments to keep your concealment at 23 and below :)
Curious question, just started playing. How do you deal with shields?
Gotcha Cody! Shields are the worst in my opinion haha but there are solutions.
1. Hacker Perk Deck has built in shield control by forcing them to fall over so you can shoot them.
2. Shotguns with dragons breath rounds or slug rounds both deal with shields by going straight through their shields.
3. There’s an ability in the enforcer tree that allows you to stagger shields by putting enough rounds into them (right below the Iron Man skill I can’t remember the name but you have to ace the skill to get that ability.)
4. Snipers shoot straight through shields.

I followed the loadout exactly and it seems to put me at exactly 23 concealment so am I cool there? or should I move stuff around and aim for lower Edit: I changed the stock to the concealment one whoops
Decided to try this build, and I honestly love it. I've tweaked it to fit my playstyle better, such as getting jokers instead of extra dodge and whatnot, but the premise of the build is still the same. It's fun, and a great way for someone like me to get into DSOD.

@@DazeLux Hey, wanted to just give a bit of an update after using the build for well over a week now. I discovered that the "Heather" SMG is quite similar to that of the Mark 10 SMG. The main upside of the Heather is a better concealment, allowing you to modify the AK-12 to get 100/100 accuracy and stability, with the only real trade-off being a somewhat slower ROF. That being said, I vastly prefer the iron sights of the Heather, so that's also a benefit. Would at least recommend trying it out.

With a similar perk deck like above, a secondary weapon with 31 concealment and 32 concealment melee, you could run a primary with a concealment of 10.
This might be irrelevant but it means that you could run the 74 Campbell exclusive set
A better option is to use Akron HC exclusive set with the build
edit : I got the concealment stats wrong
Imo I take off dodge skills for Shock and Awe aced and to ace Unseen Strike simply because that’s an absurd dps increase to clear rooms and to eliminate shields easily

How come your dodge chance is surpassing 100% at times? Highest I can see it going just by looking at the stats and skill is 75%.
35% standard from suit's 5% with hacker's two 15% boosts from the perk cards,
Then Sneaky Bastard's aced effect adding 10% more to make 45%,
Then +20% to make 65% with the pocket ECM kill bonus that adds this 20%,
Then +10% to make 75% from Duck and Cover's aced effect which adds this 10% when sprinting.
Where's the rest coming from? Can't tell at all.
from the replies read from this guy, he says its a visual glitch with vanilla mod plus hud
1. Watch back thru the video. 75% dodge means I have a 25% chance to get hit. If I have 100%+ dodge that means I literally can’t get hit. Someone had a time stamp in these comments of me being shot even at 100%+ dodge.
2. If you’ve been playing PD2 for long, you can tell I’m not good at this game. If I had hacks I’d at least not show myself going down in videos so my builds look perfect.

Forgot to clarify, yes this is 100% a glitch with Vanilla Hud Plus. I have the same issue with using Sicario as well.
I was wondering, does specing into ecm specialist affect the pocket ecm at all?
Personally, I don’t remember. I don’t feel like it does and it only effects normal ecms.
Can you activate the jammer and then kill an enemy to remove the pager completely or will I still have to deal with the pager afterwards?
Pager will still come up afterwards :)

Hey there! This video was made before that nerf was active. It does now so you may have to adjust the build slightly to make it fit for concealment :)
are brothers grimm 12g shotguns good? i use them primary and judge secondary, i think shotguns are better when being fast and running around n stuff
They aren’t bad! They for sure have their uses. It just depends on what skills you have allocated. I personally like running grimm shotties and having dragons breath on my judge :)

I use the accessibility dot instead of lasers. It 100% accurate compared ti the lasers that are slightly off centre.
I haven’t ran into any issues with the lasers personally but I’m glad you have something that works for you! :)
I rarely play payday 2 what can you replace the ak17 with?
Since it would seem most of the good stuff comes with dlc related
Most good stuff is DLC unfortunately but it doesn’t mean there aren’t good weapons that aren’t DLC! The important thing is to look at the stats for the ak17 in the video and match it with something that you have :)

I don't have all the weapon attachments to be able to have the same results so yeah

Yo daze, how should i go about subsituting the speedmags in the weapons especially with the new nerfs?
That’s a tough one! Unfortunately the only real options we have are to go for skills that boost reload speed and to leave off the speed mag :(

Idk why but when I spec into the skills you have, i end up with 8 skill points left. what else should I add with these 8 skill points?

Why is it that when I level the same skills as you into ghost that I cant unlock SB or unseen strike it’s just below the amount to unlock it even with the exact same skills aced/equipped as the video
Are you infamy 1 at least? Infamy gives a skill discount :)

As long as you are infamy 1 level 100 you should be able to do everything in the video :)

As long as you keep your stats and skills close to how I have mine it should be just fine! Keep that detection risk down so you get your dodge and crit boosts! :)

I love your build but I'm a solo player and i wondering what the best perk i can choose for the 3 IA with me
Just depends on your playstyle! I can’t think of something that coincides directly with AI. Tag Team allows you to tag AI which is some interaction. Leech is a good perk for solo since you can self rezz. Stoic is very manageable for solo. Those would be my main suggestions probably! :)

GOTCHA! Sorry misunderstood. Faster interaction speed is huge. Faster reload speed is nice. Giving your AI inspire can also be clutch at times too :)

I’m on console with no dlc’s. What’s the best alternative for the Ak17?
I have a few DLCs but not the Gage Russian Weapons pack, honestly I would recommend the AK5 or the CAR-4 since thats the ones I usually use
I’m on console but we don’t have the Ak17 what would be a good replacement for it
AK5 or CAR-4 works for me, I main this build and those are the ones I use since I don't have that DLC

I have the same skills but only reach 30 dodge total, was there a nerf I missed?
Hmm shouldn’t be the case. Is your Detection Risk at 23 and below? If not, it may have to do with the speed mag because those were given 1 detection after this video was released lol

dlc needed for the Ak17 Rifle, good build but not for free to play players, didn't check if the secondary is also dlc only.
I get that, but the reason I show the weapon stats for both weapons is so you can find a weapon within your own arsenal that closely matches what I have. :) AK17 is a high damage AR with honestly mediocre concealment. There are other ARs that I think you could make work even for free to play :)

What should i use instead of ak17 i dont have it
I can get you an exact weapon but just shoot for anything with low concealment so that you stay at 23 detection risk or lower so you get that crit chance :)
Whats a good substitute for the ak17? So far, queens wrath and ak5 seem to be the best in terms of concealment and ammo pickup. Ammo pickup is nice :]
You could use krinkov akimbo, it slaps hard on DSOD solo
AK5 with crits is one of my favorite ARs in the whole game! Highly recommend
I dont get it, how can you get more than 75 dodge?
AI teammate boosts for 80 dodge, sicario allows you to get to 200. He had 100 dodge for a bit which is impossible with hacker but its just a visual HUD glitch, he got hit when he had 100 dodge proving its just a glitch.
No this is a visual glitch on VanillaHUD Plus unfortunately :( I don’t exceed 75 dodge

Any kind of AR with high concealment. As long as you keep that concealment down you’re good :)
So the smaller the concealment the better?
High concealment = Low detection risk :) Need that for crits :)
What fov do you use?
My FOV is set at Max in settings (which I believe is 90). I don’t have custom FOV but i will be getting it soon :)

So I’m on ps5 level 100 and I can’t get all the skills, is that just a ps5 thing?
Unfortunately console is years behind in updates compared to PC but also going infamous gives you a discount on skills so it could be either of those I think :)
@@DazeLux Yeha I think it’s that. I literally have everything done except the concealments. Sure I don’t have the right stock for the Al but I think the wide one is almost the same thing. I just need infamy… gonna take a long time… and a lot more grinding
Luckily going infamous gives you XP boosts but every little bit counts haha! Good luck :)

Yeah! AK17 is a great primary because of its damage output. I’d just make sure you’re keeping your detection risk at 23 and below and you have SB to help with dodge and you should be good :)

How do i get the ak17
You have to buy it, it should be on the first page third or fourth row near the golden ak-47, if you can't find it it's either behind a paid DLC or an achievement

cheater getting 130% dodge lmao.
It’s a graphic glitch with Vanilla Hud Plus. I’m not sure why it does it but it does it with Sicario too where it will multiply the dodge used and pretend like there isn’t a cap on dodge. Sorry if that’s misleading. I should’ve clarified that.
@@DazeLux its not a glitch with the hud because i have the same one and it displays the dodge properly, dont lie to me.

@@DazeLux well seems like you were correct, at around 14:38 you were hit with over 100% dodge, so i take back what i said, seems like it is indeed a visual bug, but i cannot find any issues listed on their github regarding this but, is this about the incompatibility issues with other HUD mods?
What i find weirdest is that i have never encountered this problem and i dont know anyone who has found this problem either so either you're using an outdated version or you are using multiple hud mods that are conflicting.
