- hey everyone! Just wanted to give you all an update on how Finn and Knox are doing, which is great! So sorry I didn't get any footage of the move to Atlanta. It was honestly extremely chaotic and gave me no time to do much of anything but pack. Hope you enjoy some cute videos of them cuddling and playing instead! 🥰

I'd love to see a grooming video where you explain what they are doing - like what is Finn doing to Knox's feet? Trimming nails? Cleaning dirt? And the 'kisses' are they just booping the snoot, or getting dust away from the nose area, like the little fist wipe?

I wish our most recent addition would form such a stable bond with his cage buddy.
It's been a back and forth for months. Anyone else would've probably already have given up on them already, but every time we think "OK, this is not working out", they suddenly start acting like best buddys again. We move them to the big cage and after a day or two they start fighting again. We put them back into the temporary cage and everything is perfect.
As you pointed out with the smooshing method, chinchillas have very distinct personalities. Sometimes I do wish I could know what they are thinking, though. Would make things a lot easier.

Can you make a video trying to train fin to hold stuff? It would be helpful for me because my chinchillas hold what they want when they want😅😂
To be honest, I don't think Finn will ever hold things, other than being in his cage to do so. Like, he doesn't even sit up on the counter haha I think its a physical thing 😅
@@chinpalsyes more videos of holding things! Sadly I cannot get my chin to accept anything in his hands from me. He will only take things in his mouth first and then hold them 😢

I would love to see how you travel with multiple chins, like what your setup is! I also have five chinchillas, and I've had a few cases of fire alarms (thankfully all false) lately that have made me rethink some of my transport methods. Do you buckle their carriers in the car with seatbelts? And do you have smaller carriers that are easier to access and carry for emergencies, or do you just use the ones you have? Thankfully, four of the five are family and get along, so I bought this bird carrier that's wide enough for them all to fit. But for longer drives I should probably find some larger carriers so they can be more comfortable.
I think one good content you should do is just a compilation of each chin’s activity throughout the day.
I was wondering if the chins have to be neutered before bonding like rabbits?
I thought I saw a video of the moving process but I cannot find it. I plan to move my chinchilla and I from California to Ohio and was hoping for some tips from someone with a lot more experience 🙏 is this a video you created or am I just wishful thinking?
where do you buy your chins? I want to buy one, but my parents aren't convinced. I REALLY WANT ONE! But my parents aren't convinced. I really want one for my birthday it's coming up so I'm planning everything I want and need for it so maybe they'll rethink it. I want one so bad and your chins are so happy and not scared, etc. Because when I got two ginny pigs they were not lovey or cuddly or anything and we got them from PetsMart. Please let me know I'm a big fan and REALLY LOVE YOUR STYLE!

Why does Linus live in a cage by himself? Does he not get along with any of the other Chins? I thought Chins were supposed to be social animals.
Linus is highly, highly territorial and can't even stand to see the other chins! It's really helpful now that the cages are up off the floor and the fencing I have isn't see through. He used to kack and grunt and yell at them 😅 he also unfortunately bullied Knox quite a bit before I separated them. He isn't fit for another chin but is happy living alone I think
