- Join me as I experiment with Gorilla PVC Glue, and a new silicone basting brush, to make prototype inflatables. Find out why I prefer HH-66 at the end.

@Becky if you mix a spray bottle of soapy water you can spray it on questionable areas to check for air leaks (the soap will bubble if there is one)
This is a practice used by car and bike mechanics when looking for holes it in tires.
bet ya she knows that.
Did you ever find a solution for a successful no leak seem? I want to design an inflatable vinyl cushion for sitting on and came across your videos. Thanks
the creases you are getting are from where the material bunches up between ur fingers when you squish it use a pudddy knife in your joints and use 5min epoxy when you let them set
I was kinda exited to see the balloon pop...lol....great video !!!
Where's a good place to buy a small amount of vinyl for a repair of an inflatable kayak? I'll use HH-66 for sure.
This is great! Submerge in soap water to easily identify leak locations :)
submerge in just water, not soapy water. unnecessary to use soap in the water if you will submerge it.
Have you tried Alibaba for the valves?
Minimum order quantities made it cheaper to cannibalize beach balls, plus need for speedy prototyping were the constraints!
To test for micro-leaks, spray with a light solution of dish washing liquid and water.
So which one is better for vinyl on vinyl?
