I may have had to play this video at 0.5 speed and I may have used regular printer paper and my wings MAY look a little wonky, but it worked out. I MADE A FAIRY AH.
It is a beautiful, subtle model. You should be so proud. I can't wait to get home and try it for myself!

With which side do you have to start, when you use paper with a coloured side?
So that the colored side is shown.
The finished model ends up two-toned when such paper is used. For example if paper with color on one side, white on the other, is used & if you start with white side up, the finished model will have white under the wings next to the body (ecxcept the tips) & from the waist down, front side only.

I usually tape a piece of metal wire inside a leg and I shape it to make a round base

@@Metrorac It's a bit old, but in case it can help anyone : I usually take a paper clip, bend and/or cut it in a shape that I can stick with white blu-tack on one side to the model, and on the surface. I try to find a spot on the model where the tack and the paperclip won't be too visible, typically on the back of the model, behind legs, wings, etc.

Hrmm... Cheap kami didn't work very well for me, gonna come back and try this one again when I get some water-color paper to play with. Maybe try wet-folding? Love this model and a very clear and easy to follow video made it that much more fun to fold! Thank you so much for sharing!
