    You are incredibly patient. Thank you for spending the time and being so thorough in your videos. It is very much appreciated! So many of us have wallpaper issues that seemed hopeless. I am feeling more optimistic and confident now thanks to your videos.

    Question. After sanding the walls do you recommend washing the dust off prior to skin coating? Which skin coat do you recommend for begginers..BIN or Kilz Original??

    Great video. Thank you. I just removed the entire sheet down to the white wall using your part one video. Your methods worked like a charm. But it took a while. So grateful you so kindly posted these resources! Thank you!

    Are you skim coating the whole wall or just the brown spots..ty

      @spencercolgan  4 года назад +2

      That’s an excellent question but if you want a really good finish, Skim Coat the entire wall.

    Hi Spencer we have come a long way since the very first video I watched of yours where kept saying to people something along the lines of get a professional in as only professionals could do what we do ( not the exact words) I am of the opinion that give people knowledge and support and they can do it. Since then I've watched your videos originally to see what else I could pull you up on as the first video did hit a nerve with me. However I have grown to respect you as a person and as another professional I enjoy watching your videos now seeing how you do things different to others me included I have not found any other video really that I would question so you have won me over and I have great respect for your abilities to work with many of the commercial papers you put up. Keep it up buddy. And glad you found the liquid gold which is BIN red.

    Hey so I just caught this video. I did skim coats on my ceiling but used kilz 2 to prime over. Compound then painted.. I did not use your listed materials. Should I expect something awful? I Will be using Roman 999 for wallpaper walls and skim coat

    BIN primer is good but .....OH LORD ... the smell is terrible and too strong and also gives headaches , the ROMAN 999 is excellent sealer, i use it all the time and no smells
    Thanks for the video Spencer .

    I'm a professional painter 40+ yrs. and I have never ever seen another professional suggest the product bin without using a protective respirator because of the volatility of this on the lungs and nervous system. I personally have seen people drop quickly not using protection. Please use care when recommending products with out explaining safety measures.

    why would it be a good idea to scrape the walls again AFTER going through the whole lengthy process of sealing ? Wouldn't it be more practical to do a THOROUGH job scraping and sanding PRIOR to sealing ? After all , isn't all of this scraping afterward , removing some of the sealer that hasn't penetrated ? Doesn't some of the sealer remain on the surface ?
