32 Front Offices all passed on Brady 5 times in a row for him to be taken in the 6th round. So it’s not exactly like Mel was the only one that couldn’t see anything special there.
Also; his draft analysis is spot on. Everything he said was correct and has been Brady’s entire career.
And don’t forget that if Bledsoe doesn’t get injured... you might not even know his name to begin with.
And if Brady was drafted by anybody else other than a team coached by Belichick... you might not know his name either.
And if the Tuck Rule doesn’t come into play... the dynasty never begins and the Patriots are just a slightly above-average team.

Allen could end up great, and it’s still a little early to say he’s going to stick around (I like what I see, I’m just saying it’s still a little early). That’s so true, it’s wild how wrong the scouts can be about evaluating talent and that’s their whole job. Like Darius Leonard was called the worst pick of the whole draft, only to win defensive rookie of the year and then continue to have success. And josh Rosen said there were 9 mistakes in front of him and so many good players were taken before and after him. It’s so crazy how Josh Rosen gets taken 10th overall, Brady got taken like 6th round I think, and Kurt Warner worked at a grocery store before becoming one of the best QBs ever.

As for TJ watt, you talk like a second round draft slot is a place for bums. Tons of great players come out of the top 3 rounds. Kiper was 3 picks off. That’s not something to nitpick lmao.
Russell Wilson was passed on by 32 teams twice and several other teams a third time. So no one really saw him coming as a top 5qb.

Wow this needs to be updated. It did NOT age well. Josh Allen has progressed significantly, and has possibly surpassed Lamar Jackson. They have remarkably comparable stats.
It doesn't make Kiper right to question one and praise the other coming out of college, although he was hardly the biggest critic of Jackson. More to the point, he suggested Jackson was a second round pick - NOT a WR, as Polian did. He basically said: "Dude's got accuracy issues, so I think 1st round is a little high." That's not exactly the biggest whiff on a prospect. That's like (rightly) criticizing Jerry Rice's combine speed: it's not controversial.
Seems like a bit of a reach, and a video perhaps in need of updating. ;)

Bills O-Line fell asleep in the 2nd half of the game, whiffing on assignments. Still Josh brought them down to tie the game, to even bring it to Overtime. Then, Allen got them in position for a winning FG IN Overtime only brought back by Cody Ford blindside block that wasn't even a part of the play. He made some dumb mistakes (like the lateral) and missed some deep throws, but he almost made some plays that most QB's cant make on tough throws and had 260 yards passing/and almost 100 rushing/and even caught a TD. It was his first Playoff game of his career...and he was deff inconsistent but played tough..it was just completely over-shadowed by the magician Deshaun Watson.

Reggie Bush was awesome, just about everyone was high on him.
His comments on Brady aren't wrong. Immobile, not a deep ball thrower. Brady made his career and history on precisely run short and mid range passes.
Lamar Jacksons QB abilities still are a question. His running ability makes him lethal. But also opens things up for his passing game.
Josh Allen is decent...dont know how good he'll be, but he shows lots of promise.

In Brady's prime, he was a great deep ball thrower. How many long bombs did he throw Moss and stallworth etc

We all know his running ability opens up the passing game, but if he wasn't a good passer and smart QB, then why don't they just put anyone that can run the ball back there. Why is pretty much every other running QB unsuccessful.... The reason he's so good, is because he's as good or better than Vick at running, but also a very precise passer even standing in the pocket.

@@dustyirby3423 hes decent enough passer. He's a dual threat, but his legs are the bigger threat. But you take that away or put him in a position that he has to rely solely on his throwing and the flaws in his passing game show. Check the titans game.

Jackson is not a precise passer in the pocket. He can’t throw sidelines passes well.

I agree with you. People are blind to that though.
