Ugh so many emotions you think about watching this. The fighting between Paul and the Beatles as a business at the time was insane, but unfortunately it was in fact a fight Paul needed to wager. They'd gotten screwed so badly in business especially after Epstein died and all their finances went into the wrong hands of greedy, unscrupulous lawyers and accountants. Then of course Yoko added to the mix and the rights of their songs went to Michael Jackson. Finally over the last 15 years the publishing rights are back into McCartney's and Ono's hands equally and Paul and Ringo have made amends. But the 1970s and 80s were just an awful time for the Beatles as a business entity. I think it was around the time they started making the Anthology around 1993-94 when they started to get things together business wise. Let's hope they have their books and papers set for the long distance future. The business of it sucked, because how great would it have been to see Paul, George, and Ringo together here?
Ruben Zandberg Yes, even through the Beatles prime in the 1960s, they didn’t make much money off their albums. They made it touring. Their profits from album sales was garbage. It stemmed from their original contract they signed when they were like 20 in a back alley in Hamburg. The stipulations carried over with their entire career. So while they’re reinventing rock music and changing the world with Sgt Pepper at like 26-27 years old, their album profits are still tied to the contract they signed as 20 year old nobodies in a dirty alley in the raunchiest city in the world at the time.
2:30 Brian (probably) drugged out by Landy. If it wasn’t for that, I’d have loved it if Brian inducted the Beatles. The actual rivalry was always between The Beatles and The Beach Boys, not the Stones. Paul said it himself. Even John said the Stones just did everything The Beatles did but 2 months later.
As a man in his late sixties, I've seen this and done that but I still get heebie jeebies when I hear this song. I, as a useless amateur, have sang this song to my friends many times and getting a great response.

Some of the greatest musicians ever playing together is amazing
Edit: The Stones, Springsteen, 2 Beatles, and Billy Joel. Freaking crazy mates
2:30 Brian Wilson on stage, wearing a perfect smoking and looking like: "What the hell am I doing here?!"
Also, Bruce Johnston is there...
Springsteen looks like he forgot the words… but Mick helped him out.
Springsteen looks like he had 1 good song his entire career and then shoulda just shut up!
I love the way Ringo speaks at the beginning
Великолепно!много раз просматривал и прослушивал в оригинале и до сих в восторге от этой композиции
Essa é uma das musicas mais linda, mostra toda a jovialidade, alegria e talento dos Beatles !
Billy joel is at the top level allways , he could have been in any legendary band no questions asked
It's incredible seeing all those legends crammed up on stage like that. Really appreciate seeing something like that.
''It's what's left I'm afraid'' says George....when you are enough alone
ALL the Legends came out for this one! How epic..
3:13 tells us how badly Jagger wanted to be a Beatle
That stage is a Hot Mess! A lot of musical talent, brilliance, and all the personalities...& They seem to be having a Blast!
Ringo Starr! Wow!
Didn’t know they had it so badly
Ruben Zandberg Yes, even through the Beatles prime in the 1960s, they didn’t make much money off their albums. They made it touring. Their profits from album sales was garbage. It stemmed from their original contract they signed when they were like 20 in a back alley in Hamburg. The stipulations carried over with their entire career. So while they’re reinventing rock music and changing the world with Sgt Pepper at like 26-27 years old, their album profits are still tied to the contract they signed as 20 year old nobodies in a dirty alley in the raunchiest city in the world at the time.
Thanks Joe, really interesting to know these things
What a great tribute to the Beatles. Amazing show.
Since Paul didn't show up they should have played one of Georges songs.
Unfortunately Paul died on September 11 1966. Faul was not invited.
Billy Joel did amazing. Mah Men
Compare George's accent from (Yesterday (with spoken intro) into this vid
Its different
But he still sounds the same
George doesn't play the guitar solo so Jeff Beck just jumps in. Priceless.
Beatles, Rolling Stones, and The Boss? Hell yea!
La gloria eterna del Rock... The Beatles
This is the comment I was looking for. You are 100% correct.
Mick Jagger spoils everything there. He's superfluous there.
02:11 George shakes his head like a real Beatle, yep.
They're all Gorgeous ! ❤️
we all loved him so much and we loves paul very :)
a tear trickled down my cheeks when he said that :/
god, I haven't watched that since it was on TV, and it is great! I love the vibe between Springsteen and Jagger. Su-bloody-perb!!!
This is a lot of fun, pure joy, that is all I can say about this.
Unique. Beatles and Rolling Stones with Bruce, Billy and other legends🎶
4:19 Bob looks ready to clock out lmao
I'm crying inside this is so iconic
I wish Billy would do an album of Beatles covers
Right from the beginning I noticed George wasn't so much the quiet Beatle! He would chime in with something funny to say!
George and Mick together, the best ´hooo´ever ...
As a man in his late sixties, I've seen this and done that but I still get heebie jeebies when I hear this song. I, as a useless amateur, have sang this song to my friends many times and getting a great response.
Mick Jagger makes black men laugh more than Richard Pryor
