You have the most stunning retics. The two pieds you highlighted were gorgeous. I know I say this all the time but your level of understanding and communication with animals is amazing. Because of you people are learning to love and respect these beautiful creatures.

AAAAAAAAAHHHH! Thank you for the shoutout, Kevin! You guys produce the best content on reptiles.
My favorite would be the cow retic.
Moo should be the mascot for NERD, but Snarfles might fight her for that spot.

first off i have to apologize for leaving soo many comments as of late but your content is just SOOO helpful. Most of my 30 years of animal experience includes dogs and wolves . Last year we started up a rescue and I had reptile calls coming in left and right. I dont have the heart to turn any animal away so i had to work very quickly to educate myself and my staff so we could provide the best care possible.first and foremost animals are my life and this new chapter definitely presented its challenges. I ran in the blood mites and respiratory infections right away. I CANNOT THANK YOU AND YOUR CREW ENOUGH! Thank Odin we live in the age of youtube so im able to utilize this tool and make sure i do everything in my power to provide the proper husbandry for them. I'm amazed at the knowledge available justat our fingertips. I have successfully rehabilitated several ball pythons and some silkback beareded dragons. I have zero doubts that without the help of your channel they would not be doing as well as they are. At this moment, im disabled and recovering from a c5 c6 c7 spinal rebuild and all of my money goes to my animals and rescue's but i cannot wait to save and be able to purchase one of your amazing retics! I really hope that we will be able to help as many people as you have someday. Quality content for sure guys. we love and appreciate you guys soo much. thank you

Cow retics have to be my favorite but it's so hard to pick favorites with retics between golden childs, the blue eye lucys, tigers, lavender albinos, pieds, regular albinos omg they are all seriously out of this world with unique beauty retic have the richest of colors even the white is so perfect bright white, lavender albinos are so the brightest yellow coupled with the most perfect shade of lavender not a brown purple but PURPLE well lavender.. awh retics are just amazing in every aspect. Love these videos!

  • @Wildnfree4life
    @Wildnfree4life 5 лет назад +1

I love how there is such a good relationship with your animals. No matter whether chickens, Guinneas, snakes, or other reptiles, the amount of trust they have with you shows. I have to say those pieds are amazing coloring. They don’t have normal patterning if pieds I’ve seen on channels. My fave animal you have is Snarfles. My fave colored is the big cow retic you have for sure. Especially being the original. The way you guys film the animals is different from others too. Yours are much more calm and you can tell how much they are handled compared to other channels.

New England Reptile of course! I got into watching snake breeding purely by accident a couple months ago. I watch a few different channels now and as far as the one on one I see from these videos, I really have learned a lot! I definitely get the educational value from it and hope at some point I can use the knowledge I’ve gained to help someone down the road. This summer we found a small Marcy’s checkered garter snake in Texas on a roadtrip with my nephew. He had never seen a snake before in the wild and I knew from it’s look that it was nonvenomous although I didn’t know what specific kind it was until I researched it. It was only about 10” long so it was a newer hatchling. I picked it up and my nephew got to hold a snake for the first time and it being completely wild was even better. He’s 9 and what an awesome experience it was for him. I love most all animals and creatures, my hubby not so much. It’s been my dream since I was a small child to become a veterinarian. And I am one semester away from completely my bachelors in biology. So hearing how others understand how genetics work is awesome! I understand pretty much all the lingo because of my degree background and I love seeing it apply in places people would probably not think to look, like breeding snakes. And oddly, I love that the video production isn’t over the top with being so professional. It feels more real and personal the way you guys produce your videos with a more “raw” touch. I’m not trying to come off as some crazy fanatic or anything but I truly enjoy the videos and look forward to each new one.

Thanks for your videos Kevin (and Donnie for making them) I learn so much from you, I’ve kept reptiles for 32 years but the last year or so of watching you with yours has taught me how to handle them so much better thanks for that. Keep up the good work.

  • @simplyshannon3478

The golden child black retics are my favorite, well I can’t say my all time favorite because the cows are so cool. Each one looks different, and has their own spotting. It’s so cool that you have created such wonderful things. Imagine that. Being able to create your own type of animal!!??? That’s mind blowing. You got to pick its color(s), it’s size by breeding to smaller ones, and you decide the behaviors ultimately of said animal because you’re raising them up for the most part. That’s amazing in my opinion. I don’t own any snakes. Or reptiles in general. I just love learning about them from Kevin, and being able to see what he can come up with next is simply amazing. Thank you for doing what you do for these wonderful creatures. NERD is the bees knees

What morph is favorite ? I do not have a favorite morph. I love seeing Kevin interact with Snarkles and (ok) any other snake he has interacted with on camera. He is calm and sure and does not frighten the animals. That makes him the best "snakebreeding/holding youtuber" of them all. He does know what is best for the animals and gives them the respect and patience the animals are entitled to.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Moo! The first time I saw it, I couldn’t believe it was real. So gorgeous and it makes them far less scary to me for some reason. I think it’s just the random splotches on the high white background signals extreme silliness. It’s a living Jackson Pollock painting.

The Black Golden Child is very striking. I look forward to seeing this fabulous snake as he or she matures. All the other snakes are amazing as well. How nice you work with your babies to neutralize the fear they have of people.

I've a snake who is a little shy who I'm trying to work with and I find all of these videos to be so educational and amazing. I'd love to be able to do what you guys do. Keep doing your thing NERD!

I really love this, getting to see the baby retics. 💞 So beautiful! My favorite is the Black Golden Child. Absolutely ~Love~ how the sun shines on the scales of this particular retic. Brian has Nightfury and I just love that particular genetics. The citrus is my 2nd. Just stunning. I love orange. 💞

Kevin McCurley is a damn genius with this shit. After watching his videos I have learned how to handle snakes/super defensive snakes a lot more without getting chomped on! Dude is like an animal mastermind, even with those bird things with him going back and just looking at them. Dude knows everything lol

New England Reptile No problem. I enjoy watching the videos that you guys put up... I honestly think it’s the best on RUclips because Kevin actually cares about his animals and just by looking at the animals and how they act, I would say he knows his shit and very well. Smart and intelligent man, I hope to be half as good as Kevin one day!!!

I have never seen a pie before! I think my favorite morph are the ocelot though. They remind me of caterpillars 🐛
Simply beautiful and I love the intelligence of retics.
Dammit, why do they have to get so big?!😬

My favorite retic morph...hmmm that's a hard one, Kevin produces so many gorgeous animals, but if I had to pick it would be a toss up between the pieds and the cows.love all your animals and videos.you are the wizard of morphs, some of the most beautiful snakes I've seen in my 40 years of keeping were produced by you.glad to see you putting more videos out.you are a true advocate and example for the herp community.

The Motley Golden Child is not only my favorite retic but my favorite snake. I was kinda into ball pythons and then I discovered the Motley Golden Child. I thought about getting one for my first snake as an adult on my own but then I found out about the eclipse and thought it a better fit for me so I'm on a wait list for one! Still think it would be awesome to do a head to head with monitors and tegus
