Not even a minute into the video but i already love it so much. I don’t see a lot of toy channels that talk about kids with sensory issues or anxiety or adhd that need toys to help them!! This is amazing and this channel is so amazing and jen is so good. She’s always honest and not hateful. She’s comforting like idk she’s just so cool and understanding. I’m so happy i found this channel tbh. ❤️
I think the “piggy” banks could be more cuddly and useful if they changed the hard plastic to a medium firm rubber. The rubber would also have a quieter dull thud sound instead of the plastic harsh clank.
tbh i prefer www.amazon.com/dp/B07WY5FNM6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Jk13Db5PA3B9N there made of vinly and there cute, i prefer a decorative piggy bank lol, but if u needed to see a cute not supper loud piggy bank here :)
I love how you tell the truth! You aren’t like other reviewers that are like, “Oh WoW tHiS iS gReAt” when it’s horrible quality And I love that you describe what it looks like even if it’s right on screen. You think about everyone, and that’s awesome
Hi, Im on the spectrum with a 9 month old baby and we are always looking to find toys that both me and her can handle. I cannot touch slimes or slippy goo. I cant smell playdo and I really cant deal with some scratchy materials. So Im so happy to see an indepth guide! Also having vision issues Im so happy you describe them so clearly!
Hi there I'm so glad that you found this video helpful. I'm really excited that so many people who are interested in this type of content are able to enjoy it and to find the value in it. I'm hoping to add a lot more, different types of items and reviews of this sort in the future so I'm really glad that this is getting such a good response. Now I know there is a need for this type of video. Thank you so much for commenting and I'm so glad you enjoy the descriptive quality of my videos 🤗❤️
I wanna say thank u for uploading this video,I'm diagnosed with high fictional autism and it is hard finding soft toys designed for these needs for children like me.
@@Emmisullivan14 Sorry its just a common phrase in the autistic community on tumblr because there is not such thing as "mild" autism, there is only autism which others experience mildly (as in you internalise so much that they don't realise the struggles you have or you don't inconvenience them). So the running joke is that if autism can be mild, it can also be spicy (like a curry or something). Its just poking fun at the problematic severity labels which are harmful and the ways people try to make them seem more friendly by giving them a different name.
I’m an autistic adult, I was diagnosed with Asperger’s when I was eleven. and I have anxiety, but my anxiety attacks are not caused by toych, rather by stress, like a baby throwing a fit, or Mom getting onto me. Vicks vaporub in the middle of my chest, helps with the anxiety. For me, though, the toys that help me the most are toys which are meant for infants, you know, rattles, crinkly toys ETC. When I’m nervous, I like to have something to do with my hands, such as playing with a baby toy or gorilla gripping a stress ball. I also like textured rubber, like a teething toy. I’m glad you do this video because a lot of people don’t even care or understand about autism so I’m glad you did this video.
Just Me That’s interesting, I love hearing from other people who are in the same boat I’m in. I like working with my hands when I’m nervous, but also I’m blind. For me, baby toys seem to do the job better, especially the ones who rattle, crinkle, or have different parts which can be moved around. You can see some of the toys I own, by going to youtube and typing in Dringa vlogs
miss chicken Autism is mostly a social disorder which can affect social skills, not verbal skills but social. A lot of autistics have problems carrying on conversations with others, not because they’re not smart, but because they just have problems with certain social skills or fitting into social norms. Some autistics have a high IQ, Mom says I sound as though I swollowed a text book. People with Asperger’s, which is the autism I have, have what are called “special interest,” which are topics which we talk about, research, ETC, a lot. It’s like a hobby on crack. It’s hard to explain, but I have some stories about my autism and how I got diagnosed, you can see them by going to youtube and typing in Dringa vlogs
Rainbow Pearl Vlogs and Animations ruclips.net/video/Je3YsWXCfUc/видео.html I also I like to hold some things in my hands while I’m getting my blood drawn, to distract me from the pain, and I have videos about that as well. Toys such as hexbugs, who vibrate, are good because the vibrations on my hand, distract me from the pain. I mean, I can still feel the pain of the needle, but I have something that’s soothing me. As long as you can operate it one-handed, it’s good. I also like holding certain small baby toys, my favorite are the Sophie the giraffes because they’re textured so it feels different.
I Really like how you didnt say just ASD children or children who have sensory struggles. I'm an adult with ASD and it has the same problems as a child, with honestly more on top! People never seem to understand that these things are forever. You dont grow out of them. I cant wait to add some of these to my christmas list!
I used to have this plush named 'Kitty' after my dog died I soon after became depressed and I didn't want to talk to anyone, I would always feel safe with Kitty, but a week after my house caught fire and I lost Kitty in it... I had to get a new plush so I found a dog and named it 'Puppy' thankfully Kitty was safe and we found her. (^ ^) Edit: Thanks for all the nice replys! My depression is getting better since I got some help for it.
I'm not sure, but I know I cried for a week after my dog died, he was like a part of the family for me, he was put down of old age, his name was Desiel and he was put down at the age of 14, which is quite old for dogs.
I'm a fan of fidget cubes! They definitely help me (I'm just very restless and very nervous whenever I leave my apartment), and they can be pretty affordable.
ive found that the more expensive versions of fidget cubes have more sounds included with their various activities, while cheaper versions make less noise. maybe this is due to the materials used in making them, but i thought it was worth mentioning for anyone who needs to tailor their fidgeting to others' sensitivities.
@@biggaysatan I have "cheaper" fidget cube I bought a couple years back for ten bucks that's pretty solid and has held up nicely with plenty of activities to do so you don't get bored by the same thing. Most of the sides don't make any or very little noise
I am really happy with this video, because I've always loved plushies and toys. And, having anxiety and sensory issues, I'm always looking for something to fidget or cuddle with.
i have a moosh moosh myself! i have anxiety and depression issues, and on a really bad day these things help so much!! they're so cute and soft and just make me so happy!! it's so good to see they've got that award!
I clicked on one video of yours thinking 'Oh it's a toy channel, it'll probably be all loud and excited I don't know why this has been recommended to me' but GOSH am I loving your channel! You are so honest and very thoughtful about how these toys actually impact the children who will play with them!
There are also these things called “hot hugs” and you can freeze them, microwave them and they have scents! They are also really soft and squishy and I’ve always wanted one ;-;
My first English teacher in college would put little fidget toys on all the tables for students to mess with. They are super helpful for focusing even for people who don't need them often and I loved that class because of it.
I really recommend the store Stimtastic for sensory aids & fidgets, they're US based and ship internationally. They have a lot of chewable jewelry, fidget jewelry, and fidget/sensory toys, and they're very affordable compared to many other sensory toy companies. They're also autistic owned and operated which is really cool!
@@xconner2452 I've got some stuff from them which I love and their flocked necklaces look super cute, though personally for me flocked plastic/resin type stuff is a major sensory issue for me so I won't be getting them (I personally think it's so interesting that one person's sensory heaven can be another's sensory hell, we're all so different!).
Oh I love this! If you'd like to check out more fidgets, Chewigem Canada is a store (originally from the UK) that sells sensory aids. They primarily offer items that are safe to chew but they also have a variety of other fidgets!! The foam alive looks so cool. Watching that stuff fall apart is soo nice. I also dislike touching starch. Flour is alright but corn starch? Horrible!! My biggest issue is tinfoil. Crumpled tinfoil is my sensory nightmare.
Pikmi Pop plushies are great sensory toys too. I love my unicorn, it still smells good and I sleep with it a lot when I don't feel okay. I'm 24.... Yes, It's incredible to have toys to relax when I feel stressed
I'm 33. I collect toys and sleep with a blankie I've had since I was born, right next to my husband. It has a soft patch that I rub whenever I need to. I totally understand.
when i was at my hospital for seeing if i had extra sensitive on top of my autism i got to try so many different "toys" to calm me down and these looks the best
I know I’m late but as someone with anxiety and sensory issues i highly appreciate this video as it’s Christmas time and i can finally ask my family for things that’ll help with those issues
Oh. My Good. Jen, this is definitely a step in the right direction. I'm so happy to see you talking about sensory aids because often times toy channels forget that these can be genuinely useful for people with sensory issues of ALL AGES and not just young children.
Wow, that blue tube sound brought back memories that I didn’t know I still had! It reminded me of when I was a kid and had to go to s psychologist who specialised in sensory issues in kids (I was probably 3-4?) and she had tonnes of toys like this! That tube really brings me back, it’s kind of nice!
I’m a 14 year old who was born premature so I have sensory issues. I can’t handle sequins or mesh stuff and I love stuffies so thank you Jen for making this.
This is awesome! I’m a 10(almost 11 on thanksgiving) that has ADHD and I think it’s really cool that you cover things like sensory things for special kids! I love how you cover this topic like I said cause other kid reviewers don’t dare cover this Good job!
You can find smaller, quieter versions of the loop fidget if you search for bicycle chain fidgets. I wouldn't use it for small children, but it's one of my favorites for quiet situations. They're much smaller than the one you got, but it's the exact same design. I've used them in quiet places without anyone noticing. Great review! It's nice to see someone talking about sensory issues openly!
Those knee-dough stress balls also come in different sizes if anyone wanted that information. My little sister bought one a while back and they're loads of fun to mess with. Thinking putties are also a great stimulant, they're my personal favorite.
I'm a teen with ASD and I LOVE your videos, and when I saw that you made a video about this kind of toys I was SOOOOO happy :3 I'm from Spain (learning English xd) and you're the only toy youtuber that I can watch without feel like a baby.
The comment about children's toys with dying batteries is so true lol! I had a toy cat named Serafina from a barbie movie growing up and she would purr and talk, and when her batteries were dying, she would sound super deep and robotic and would start going off and making sound even without anyone being near it (it sat on top of my shelf for a good year) it was always so creepy lol!
So excited to see this video! I have major anxiety and other mental health issues, as do two of my four daughters. I'm still new to the concept that companies actually make toys for people with ADHD, autism, anxiety and sensory issues. This video and your channel in general, really help me feel like I'm not alone. I love how open you are about anxiety and sensory issues Jen. Thank you so much for caring and doing this.
I have those Smoosh Moosh stuffies! They are amazing! My favorite cuddle toy is my Pikachu Build A Bear, which I got 2 years ago. The fur/fuz is super soft, while also not being fluffy. I can't cuddle with fluffy stuffies, they make me anxious. Edit: AH! I got hearted by Jen! Yay! How amazing! Also, THe stuffed animal was not a Smoosh Moosh thing. It's called a Squiahmallow, which I got at a Five Below in America. I say you should try to find them! They are amazing!
I really really appreciate this video ❤️ I have ADD and bipolar disorder which, among other things, gives me both concentration issues and sensory issues. I can't focus on stuff unless I fiddle with something. My "to-go" thing is shaking my leg (which ironically actually stresses me and others out). So I'm always searching for new fidget toys. My sensory issues evolves basically every material. So simple things like buying clothes and furniture is very difficult (not to mention boring) for me since I'm so particular with how it should feel.. But dry things are the absolute worst. Just thinking about touching dry materials gives me massive shivers. I feel silly when this is such a big issue for me because noone I know can relate to it. So I'm so thankful every time someone else opens up about similar problems. And so this channel (Jen) is golden ❤️
been having quite a few panic attacks lately, and i watch your videos at night because being in the dark triggers them a bit more. i love that i dont genuinely have to watch the video, you describe everything and i can lay in the dark more safely with the light from my phone and your videos. i know this is an old video! but i guess this is the correct one to comment this on haha. thank you for being you!
This is excellent! A friend and myself are going to raise money to buy equipment/ aids etc for people with mental health issues in a physical health hospital. My friend has a family member who could have benefitted from equipment like this when having a mental health crisis recently and personally I have complex mental and physical health issues so spend a lot of time in physical health hospital (total of 8 months last year) which affects my mental health. Mental health support sadly lacks a lot in physical health hospitals which is silly as lots of people suffer with both so hopefully our GoFundMe will help us provide lots of resources to help lots of people. We want to raise money for sensory aids, weighted blankets, fiddle toys and literature that can help both the patient and their family and so seeing you review some of these was brilliant. Another reason I love your videos!
What a great cause! I wish you the best of luck to reach your goal! I definitely agree that various toys, materials and pillows can be a support for those that need or find value in them! 🤗
GreatBigToyBox thank you! Like you (is freaky that we’re the same age, look similar and both are educators) I used to work with children with behaviour/ additional needs (until I was forced into medical retirement) and so used to fill my classroom with loads of sensory aids and toys, but found it harder finding equipment for my older students who didn’t want to stand out but needed/ wanted a fiddle/ fidget toy etc. I started making my own that either fit with current teenage trends or blended away and was all up for marketing them out for people to buy when my health took a massive decline. It’s something I’d love to do in the future if my health allows. As as an adult I find there are even fewer products out there for us! Thank you for being so honest about your own sensory issues too, makes me feel less awkward when I explain to new people why I can’t hand them a microfibre cloth or why I’m physically grimacing if hearing a noise I can’t process- people seem to assume these issues only affect children and magically vanish when you hit puberty/ adulthood! 🐝
@@alexdavis5766 It'd be so great if they did go away with age but it doesn't work like that. I physically cannot touch burlap or hear certain sounds without getting stressed to the point of tears. Autism can be absolutely awful at times honestly.
Hibiscius It’s the same with my physical disabilities, if I had £1 for every person who told me “you’re too young to be disabled” I’d be rich! If only disabilities only hit at a certain old age... 🙄
@@alexdavis5766 I've had to bring a small square of satin blanket binding with me to the hospital to self soothe, especially for mental health visits, and the number of workers I have to explain it to as they threatened to take it from me (it's a 2" square of very breathable satin fabric; I'd have to be hella determined, and they would have to be very lax in watching me, for me to harm myself with it and those were voluntary admissions- I went in of my own free will) was unreal. And they make you feel like a freak or a baby for needing it! I have fibromyalgia, a nerve hypersensitivity pain disorder, and people with fibromyalgia seem to have a number of sensory issues due to their nerve hypersensitivity. Lots of us won't eat foods like beans and certain kinds of apples because of the texture, or just have major issues with dry and mushy foods, many of us can't stand strong smells, and loud noises are out for sure, and I own more fuzzy socks and slippers plus comfy PJs than most people will ever wear! LOL
NexJen OMG I never thought you would actually reply I’m tearing up thanks so much Gen! The attack was because year 6 ( my year) was going to audition for solo parts in singing our Christmas assembly ;and me being a really non confident singer I decided to go up and try it out. as soon as I started to sing my heart sank and I couldn’t breathe ; I just said nope laughed and walked away but the closer I got to my chair the more my face started to scrunch up, I was sobbing shaking and you know other stuff however no tears came out I stared to call my self stupid for thinking I could actually do this however I cheered up really soon and believe it or not actually got the part! Gen if you read this or not either way I am so great full and I feel so appreciated, and to other people who read this thank you a lot, and just remember not all disabilities are visible! Love mikka ❤️❤️❤️

Two beautiful things. 1) Jens flashlight song 2) Mentioning depression, anxiety, and all that Jazz. As a person who is cuddly and goes for soft fluffy things to decompress, I love this video. And the plushies are SO SOFT. I hug them every time I go to the craft store or see them
I love this channel and the way Jen describes the object, and the way you're so honest about everything and anything even if some company sent you stuff you go straight to the point instead of saying things like other reviewers do like "Oh wow it's great i love it!" just to please the company because they sent them stuff. I`m so glad i discovered this channel and i love the videos so much keep up the good work Jen! And keep being honest!
I really appreciate the fact you talk about what everything looks like in great detail. My niece is autistic and blind and she loves listening to your videos and always says your voice is soothing. It makes her day when I watch them with her. Thank you Jen.
I absolutely adore the amount of care and effort you put into describing the items. You are so descriptive, and I am sure that it helps out people all the time
I'm glad I'm not the only one with sensory issues when it comes to things like playdoh. I hated it as a child because it felt so disgusting on my hands. The only thing worse was working with clay during art class where it was both dry and grainy. I loved silly putty which was stretchy and didn't bother me so I could play with it for hours. A lot of these look great as someone with a lot of anxiety and needs to fidget a lot with something in hand to avoid more destructive habits
24 year old with ASD, anxiety and mood swings, and really appreciate this video. I have mainly problems with sound, but I find a lot of comfort from certain textures when I touch and squeeze them. So sensory toys are a massive help to me
I've worked with kids with ASD and I think you made some amazing recommendations! My brother is also a major fidgeter, especially while he's studying for his exams, so I can see some of these things being of interest to him!
jjaystar94 I have asd and one thing that helps is shopkins that have lots of texture and soft plushies I am aware that asd Varys through out people but thought this would be helpful I’m 12 and had to research this for a project and I have it
I do in-home therapy with kids with ASD and I absolutely love checking out fidget toys. I also have anxiety and just like to fidget so I have quite the collection of my own as well as a collection I take with me to visit kids. A fidget that I now consider essential for my kids and myself is an Infinity Cube. It fold over itself again and again and it’s really easy to mindlessly fiddle with it. I highly recommend it if you like clicky noises (from the plastic pieces hitting each other) and repetition. One mom compared it being like a Transformer and blocks all in one
GreatBigToyBox Id love to see a video like that! There’s so many unique ones out there, it’s always fun to see what other people have found. I find bubble timers to be a great calming tool, Tangles and Klixx are also both great toys. Tangles are fluid in their movement and easy to play around with, while Klixx pop/click and have more resistance to them. You have to careful with things like Klixx so you don’t pinch your fingers, so I think they might be more suited for older kids, unless a younger one can be gentle. Have you seen Mush Meez? They’re stuffed animals with clay inside of them, so they feel really good to squish and squeeze. They’re a nice quiet soft toy to hold onto
Thanks so much for speaking about your sensory issues and showing us these toys! I have a panic disorder and I always find it interesting to hear others talk about what they experience and how they handle it. I learned a lot of techniques to cope like breathing, meditation (mindfulness), progressive muscle relaxation, and trained so that certain voices will calm me down. I pace or walk alot too to stabilize myself. I am a plushie lover aswell but I think that's me just being a dork =P
A stress toy that i somehow discovered is folding a few pieces of sticky tape (I don't know if it's called something else in America, lol) together into a square (you can put as much tape as u want depending if u want it soft or firm. . Colour in the tape square with a sharpie/a permanet marker. Next flod another strip of tape onto the square to cover the Sharpie from it staining your hands. Then you're all done! It works great as a fidget toy. Just closing it and twisting it just calms me down somehow idk if it will work for anyone else. Also you can turn off the lights, turn on a torch and put the tape square covering the torch. If you put enough marker it will light up the room in the colour of the marker.
Being someone who has kidney and back issues along with anxiety I often cannot sleep comfortably so plushes like these are amazing !!!! It helps me so much !!!!
Mad Mattr is my favorite "putty" because it's kind of like kinetic sand, but it isn't grainy and it doesn't leave that oil on your skin. It's also nontoxic, so it's accessible for any age. I also really love squishables. They come in a variety of options. They have food and animal plushies, and I highly recommend you look for them in your local toy store.
Thank you! When my daughter was diagnosed as SI 16 years ago i had to teach myself what toys to help her and use for stressful situations. At that time most things were made for pets. Teaching littles i used a lot i had to modify. Its nice to see you review them for everyone! 💜💜💜💜
When you said the smell reminds you of something you can’t remember 😂 I can relate to that so much. lol also my jaw dropped when you said colors are early math. I had no idea! Thanks for another fun and informative video Jen 😊
I’m 19 and have sensory, adhd, and go into little space due to trauma. Plushies have always been so helpful. The mooshmoosh plushies are amazing for me. Thank you so much jen😊
As someone with major anxiety, sensory issues, and in the process of being tested for autism, I really appreciate this list! Thanks Jen! Love your videos.
Girl! Take that tube and whip it round & round in the air, like you're pretending to do a lasso! It howls spookily. I mean, it's good to scrunch & pull (to me), but it's glory is the spooky noise it makes.
@@NexJen Ew. Don't do that. lol Thanks for this video. I just bought the larger model Dimpl thing. I keep a 'Comfort Cabinet' for both myself, and my autistic kid. It's going in that. We have a little ball like that Super Nee Do thing. I love them. I broke the first one. Water snakes are something that I get obsessed with. idk if it's something you're familiar w/, but it may be worth looking into if you're not!
This is so helpful! I have a grandma with dementia and I’ve started looking into these sensory toys. It’s great to be able to see them being demoed in a real way! Thank you!!!
I just wanted to add something about the Foam Alive, in the US the small containers are about 3-5$ and I honestly adore it. I dont know if they changed the formula but mine does not have any scent and did not have one when I bought it (Very important to be because strong smells kinda upset me) If you dont like kinetic sand, you may like this stuff, I hate sand and kinetic sand but the foam is softer and more pleasant to run your hands through.
Those look like those Japanese chibi plushes! I dont know if they have a name and they are SO soft! I have a corgi/husky one (I was never able to tell) and its helped me so so so much with my anxiety and depression. It's almost magical! Although they dont look as soft as the Japanese ones, the prices are only a few dollars more so if you could get your hands on the Japanese ones I'd definitely recommend it Edit: they're called mochi plushies I'd definitely recommend at least looking them up and browsing through pictures because THEY'RE SO ADORABLE! And about the nee doh ball, I definitely wouldn't recommend them. I bought one and it broke within one day. The stuff inside is DEFINITELY not something with a good feeling, it leaves a sticky residue too. And as someone who uses stress relievers often, having break within hours is pretty annoying
Try checking on Amazon and also Stimtastic for great affordable fidgets! It's where I got most of the ones I have! Hope you find things that will suit your needs! 🤗
As someone with asd, adhd, and anxiety, I can say that growing up was very difficult. If there's one thing I want to get out there, it's that all people with autism are very different. There is no one type of autism, nor one way to control it. And at the end of the day, we're still people, and we still get lonely. And yes, we sometimes do some pretty weird stuff, or say things that we shouldn't, but most times it's done mindlessly. Like when you walk into a room to do that thing and suddenly forget why you're there. Either way, please still treat us with the same respect and dignity you would with anyone else. We're still people.
Great that you do these toys/aids. My favourite must be the cube. Soft and cuddly. I have a cuddle toy who I use and would never replace. Its 20 years old now. It's great having something that is calming. Take care and stay safe.💖💖💖
Blinded by the light this bee comes at me and blinded by the light Why are you hurting my sight It’s towards you, and you can’t see right? Jens official song
Hey Jen you might enjoy play foam. It’s about $6 usd and comes in 8 packs. It’s not dry but not like wet it’s quite nice it’s filled with little foam balls and rolls around in your hands it’s been on a table for a few days with no stains and stays together even when it’s pulled apart piece by pice.
As a young adult w/ sensory issues and related issues and as someone who works with children who typically have sensory issues I love seeing this type of content especially when it’s not just acknowledging children but all individuals who has these needs we love an inclusive creator who cares ♥️
The only place I know where to find MooshMooshes are is Michaels! Though, I do heavily prefer Squishmallows. They're essentially the same, but I'm personally not a huge fan of loaf-shaped plushes (no offense, tsumtsums!)
I have autism and sensory issues. This video and many of the products in it were quite helpful for my anxiety. Thank you for making me feel accepted because not everyone does. Keep being your amazing self!
My Lil sister would love these! She dosen't have autism, but she has a speech delay and learning delay but she's doing really good! She loves sensory toys! I'm so glad that you are showing toys for people with autism, asd, sensory aids, ect. They are very helpful!
Thank you so much for this video! I have a son with ASD, ADHD, generalized anxiety and sensory issues. It is not always easy for me to find things he and will touch. Would love to see more of this type of content. I absolutely love watching your videos
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate the feed back and an excited that the video will be helpful for you and others when buying for someone you care about. I wasn't sure if this would be well recieved and have been wanting to do a video like this forever... So this is exciting 🤩.
Jacob Maars, Jen is honestly amazing! I think anyone and everyone would enjoy her videos. She knows she’s helped me so much :)
Jen is such a great person. Welcome to the beebut family 💕
Aww thank you so much guys
I agree! I was very happy with the title and checking out different ideas to sensory items.
Agreed! As a person with sensory issues and ADHD, this is sooo helpful!
I think the “piggy” banks could be more cuddly and useful if they changed the hard plastic to a medium firm rubber. The rubber would also have a quieter dull thud sound instead of the plastic harsh clank.

Are you okay with the smell of salt? You might try salt dough- it’s easy to make and there’s no chemical smells
I have ADHD and my mom watched this video with me and she said "wow she's good at this toy stuff".
Thanks for the likes and comments
@Leah Gladue OI
ADHD squad!
I wanna say thank u for uploading this video,I'm diagnosed with high fictional autism and it is hard finding soft toys designed for these needs for children like me.
My mom wanted to get me tested for it but never did because my little brother has it. Maybe I'll get toys for him
@@ate7865 you don't get better from it, it's not an illness.
@@ate7865 Yeah dude. Autism is a disorder. You don't say 'Get better' to a person with ADHD, ADD, insomnia or tourettes, do you?
Hey you aren't alone I've got ADHD myself 😁
I've got austim too but I was looking at them for my brother hes got ADHD and he loves stuffed animals... for a Christmas present
I am a 14 year old girl who has mild autism. I have sensory issues and I really appreciate this review. I love you, Jen!
I'm autistic too, but I'd say that its more spicy than mild.
@@AlexaFaie what do you mean? I don't understand. I am a very literal person.
@@elaynamartin6620 thanks!!
@@AlexaFaieand I have ADD. It sucks. There is actually such thing as mild autism.
Dringa vlogs what is exactly autism?
I like the ‘crazy‘ tangles with all the textures. They help calm me down when I’m stressed/overstimulated.

I also I like to hold some things in my hands while I’m getting my blood drawn, to distract me from the pain, and I have videos about that as well.

Edit: Thanks for all the nice replys! My depression is getting better since I got some help for it.
Lucky The Ink Cat 🥴is it wrong that I almost cried?🥴
I'm not sure, but I know I cried for a week after my dog died, he was like a part of the family for me, he was put down of old age, his name was Desiel and he was put down at the age of 14, which is quite old for dogs.
Don't worry it's ok same thing happened to me
BEST BOok I EVER READ :DDDDDDD but fr im so glad you found her
Lucky The Ink Cat oh, that’s sad.
I saw one for $10 lol
@@biggaysatan I have "cheaper" fidget cube I bought a couple years back for ten bucks that's pretty solid and has held up nicely with plenty of activities to do so you don't get bored by the same thing. Most of the sides don't make any or very little noise
I have the issue leaving my apartment! I should try that. Thank you for the idea.
mc I can't find any for less then $20. Send help please.
I am really happy with this video, because I've always loved plushies and toys. And, having anxiety and sensory issues, I'm always looking for something to fidget or cuddle with.
Yes!! Thank you for this, I have anxiety and sensory issues and it's nice to see soft toys that I can use and enjoy!
i have a moosh moosh myself! i have anxiety and depression issues, and on a really bad day these things help so much!! they're so cute and soft and just make me so happy!! it's so good to see they've got that award!
O, you should check out squishmallows then!
Oooh Moosh moosh squishies. I need to find those, they're adorable.
I'm a young adult with severe anxiety, and sensory things even help me. It's amazing to see someone do a specific video like this
I clicked on one video of yours thinking 'Oh it's a toy channel, it'll probably be all loud and excited I don't know why this has been recommended to me' but GOSH am I loving your channel! You are so honest and very thoughtful about how these toys actually impact the children who will play with them!
There are also these things called “hot hugs” and you can freeze them, microwave them and they have scents! They are also really soft and squishy and I’ve always wanted one ;-;
Why is Jen so likeable? is it because she´s considerate, kind and funny? Yes, yes it is.
🤗🤭 thank you
My first English teacher in college would put little fidget toys on all the tables for students to mess with. They are super helpful for focusing even for people who don't need them often and I loved that class because of it.
Your teacher is a god
lowkey homestuck vibes from the candy corn monster
I was gonna comment that!
Big yea I think it was supposed to be a vampire but when I first saw it....
God same
Dude same
I really recommend the store Stimtastic for sensory aids & fidgets, they're US based and ship internationally. They have a lot of chewable jewelry, fidget jewelry, and fidget/sensory toys, and they're very affordable compared to many other sensory toy companies. They're also autistic owned and operated which is really cool!
wickedest-witch I just bought stuff from them recently! They have some really cool flocked necklaces, good for tactile stimming.
That intro looks like a weird version of the Stranger Things one.
I'm what way? 😐😕😶
I’m excited to see the reveal of the intro but I’m gonna kinda miss this eerie spooky one 😂
Literally thought that same thing!
LMAO
No it doesnt
Omg thank you so much! I have ADHD and Asperger's so I'm always on the lookout for stuff like that
Oh I love this!
Foam alive is awesome! It kinda feels like kinetic sand, but softer and more springy
flareontoast I can’t touch starch either! Or, like, soft leather, like suede or whatever it’s called. And I can’t let my skin touch itself.
flareontoast touching dry acrylic paint is my sensory noghtmare

Pikmi Pop plushies are great sensory toys too. I love my unicorn, it still smells good and I sleep with it a lot when I don't feel okay.
I'm 24.... Yes, It's incredible to have toys to relax when I feel stressed
LightDreamer I’m 30, and I still cuddle with plushies. Particularly when I’m sick (full of a cold right now) or stressed. ☺️
I also love my Pikmi pops toys! The tiny ones are so nice to roll around in your hand and keep as a buddy
I was just telling my hubby that pikmi pops plushies are great. Lol
I'm 33. I collect toys and sleep with a blankie I've had since I was born, right next to my husband. It has a soft patch that I rub whenever I need to. I totally understand.

Ok wait...spiders have eight legs. The monster only has six. Is it a mutated ladybug without the dots?
It had 6 legs plus 2 hands. So, 8 limbs

I love how you cover this topic like I said cause other kid reviewers don’t dare cover this
Good job!

Kingofdragons27 I think I’ve also seen some shaped like cats!
I'm a teen with ASD and I LOVE your videos, and when I saw that you made a video about this kind of toys I was SOOOOO happy :3
I'm from Spain (learning English xd) and you're the only toy youtuber that I can watch without feel like a baby.
I had the same toy!
🤗❤️
Jen, don’t think you have to review a toy that is going to make you uncomfortable. We care about your well being more than a toy review. 😊
I thought the monster thing was a homestuck character
Me too....its a curse

And liquids like oobleck are non-newtonian fluids
I really really appreciate this video ❤️
I have ADD and bipolar disorder which, among other things, gives me both concentration issues and sensory issues.
For our anniversary my partner got me the bee squared pillow. It's names Hexed. I love it so much, even my manly man bf loves it.
been having quite a few panic attacks lately, and i watch your videos at night because being in the dark triggers them a bit more. i love that i dont genuinely have to watch the video, you describe everything and i can lay in the dark more safely with the light from my phone and your videos. i know this is an old video! but i guess this is the correct one to comment this on haha. thank you for being you!
LOL

I think I saw them at my local pipers but I think the one there is a knock off or doesn't have a safe material.
Two beautiful things.
1) Jens flashlight song
2) Mentioning depression, anxiety, and all that Jazz.

🤗 you are very welcome
My brother is also a major fidgeter, especially while he's studying for his exams, so I can see some of these things being of interest to him!
jjaystar94 I have asd and one thing that helps is shopkins that have lots of texture and soft plushies
I am aware that asd Varys through out people but thought this would be helpful
I’m 12 and had to research this for a project and I have it
I do in-home therapy with kids with ASD and I absolutely love checking out fidget toys.
I have one too!!! Maybe I should do a video of some of the fidgets I have on my collection? I'd love to see others that you guys recommend as well!
I am a plushie lover aswell but I think that's me just being a dork =P
i may be gushing but it makes me happy how open u are about ur sensory issues. i have them as well and its so comforting seeing ppl who are like me
A stress toy that i somehow discovered is folding a few pieces of sticky tape (I don't know if it's called something else in America, lol) together into a square (you can put as much tape as u want depending if u want it soft or firm.

Girl! Take that tube and whip it round & round in the air, like you're pretending to do a lasso! It howls spookily. I mean, it's good to scrunch & pull (to me), but it's glory is the spooky noise it makes.
Hahah I did that after the video. I was trying to be professional today🤣
I dont know if they changed the formula but mine does not have any scent and did not have one when I bought it (Very important to be because strong smells kinda upset me)
If you dont like kinetic sand, you may like this stuff, I hate sand and kinetic sand but the foam is softer and more pleasant to run your hands through.
I have anxiety and end up crying when my anxiety kicks in and just watching some of those toys made me happy
I do the same. It's one of my biggest stressors 😓 hugs to you
Those look like those Japanese chibi plushes! I dont know if they have a name and they are SO soft! I have a corgi/husky one (I was never able to tell) and its helped me so so so much with my anxiety and depression. It's almost magical! Although they dont look as soft as the Japanese ones, the prices are only a few dollars more so if you could get your hands on the Japanese ones I'd definitely recommend it
Edit: they're called mochi plushies I'd definitely recommend at least looking them up and browsing through pictures because THEY'RE SO ADORABLE!
And about the nee doh ball, I definitely wouldn't recommend them. I bought one and it broke within one day. The stuff inside is DEFINITELY not something with a good feeling, it leaves a sticky residue too. And as someone who uses stress relievers often, having break within hours is pretty annoying
Thanks for all the info. And oh no!!! Mine hasn't popped or gotten gross yet but now I'll be extra cautious 😰
I have ADHD and honestly your videos help surpress my need to fidget all the bright colors are so eye catching you keep me entertained for hours.
It makes me so happy to hear people saying this! So glad I can help🤗❤️
This just made me realize how much a fidget toy would help me with my anxiety and the stress, but this kind of things are so expensive where i live :(
Maybe I'll come up with a video to make effective d.i.y digit and sensory items!! Then you can make some!
What do you think? 🤗❤️
Try checking on Amazon and also Stimtastic for great affordable fidgets! It's where I got most of the ones I have! Hope you find things that will suit your needs! 🤗
Hibiscius agreed!! stimtastic is a great website for affordable fidget/stim toys
GreatBigToyBox I’d love love love to see a video like that
As a person with Asperger’s syndrome (on the autism spectrum, I believe), I’m so happy Jen is aware about these things.
Who has been a fan of Jen before 2019

As someone with asd, adhd, and anxiety, I can say that growing up was very difficult. If there's one thing I want to get out there, it's that all people with autism are very different. There is no one type of autism, nor one way to control it. And at the end of the day, we're still people, and we still get lonely. And yes, we sometimes do some pretty weird stuff, or say things that we shouldn't, but most times it's done mindlessly. Like when you walk into a room to do that thing and suddenly forget why you're there. Either way, please still treat us with the same respect and dignity you would with anyone else. We're still people.
I definatly needed this video I'm always looking for sensory toys
Great that you do these toys/aids. My favourite must be the cube. Soft and cuddly. I have a cuddle toy who I use and would never replace. Its 20 years old now. It's great having something that is calming. Take care and stay safe.💖💖💖

Jen: "Like little miss Muffet!"
Me: "Like Muffet from Undertale!!!"
I haven't seen that. Everyone keeps mentioning it.... I might have to watch it now lol
@@NexJen In my opinion Undertale is a very nice game and I think that you'll like it!
GreatBigToyBox it’s a very nice game, unless you do the Geno route
Please don’t thanks
@@sylvie_on I totally agree. Genocide path is depressing and disturbing. Still good game tho!
"Please disregard my ugly nails"
I was literally just thinking how I love the colors you went with. Very autumn-y.
Blinded by the light this bee comes at me and blinded by the light
Why are you hurting my sight
It’s towards you, and you can’t see right?

Hey Jen you might enjoy play foam. It’s about $6 usd and comes in 8 packs. It’s not dry but not like wet it’s quite nice it’s filled with little foam balls and rolls around in your hands it’s been on a table for a few days with no stains and stays together even when it’s pulled apart piece by pice.
I can already tell this is gonna be a great video!
🍌
I have ADHD and this video helped me a lot! I loved it.
Actually I think your nails are quite pretty - the colors go nicely together.
ALSO! Thank you so much for these reviews!
Oh yay, stuff for me and my brother-
My Lil sister would love these! She dosen't have autism, but she has a speech delay and learning delay but she's doing really good! She loves sensory toys! I'm so glad that you are showing toys for people with autism, asd, sensory aids, ect. They are very helpful!
Jen: I can totally handle this
My neurotic self: OMG don't touch it...CHEMICALS 🥴
Thank you so much for this video! I have a son with ASD, ADHD, generalized anxiety and sensory issues. It is not always easy for me to find things he and will touch. Would love to see more of this type of content. I absolutely love watching your videos
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate the feed back and an excited that the video will be helpful for you and others when buying for someone you care about. I wasn't sure if this would be well recieved and have been wanting to do a video like this forever... So this is exciting 🤩.
I didn’t know you worked with children! It’s so cool and it makes a lot of sense haha!
