Same. I mostly just use normal speed during major battles in Trailblaze Missions, y'know, those similar to Phantylia.
I love how some of these ults are really long animation wise while the voice lines are short so some of those aren't even sped up, just moved to say it earlier. Really allows you to enjoy each voice line regardless of 2x speed.
idk why, but i absolutely love Jing Yuan's sped up ult. The simplicity and tone is just amazing

I really wish they'll implement a feature thay allows you to set each character's ultimate speed to either normal or 2x individually in the future. I'm a FGO player and such a feature exist exist there which is very neat if you have characters that you'll never get tired of listening the ultimate voicelines to.
yeahl or separately for ultimates and skills since I prefer faster skills but I wanna enjoy the normal speed for ultimates
I kinda want this but with the voice lines lol. Some characters sound better in other languages so I wouldn't mind being able to set everyone to whatever individual language I like to hear from them.
If the game have this future i will set Herta at x2

both EN and JP voices are great, but no matter what I say you'll be finding me listening to JP Seele's Ult voice line anyway (I love her JP voice a normal amount)
the way you're wording that sounds like you love her jp voice as much as i love jing yuan's jp voice (i love it a normal amount, that's why i sometimes switch back to normal speed when using him so i can hear his voice just a bit longer; just a normal amount)

interesting, it seems like the va’s had similar direction when it came to double speed vs regular. jing yuans is more aggressive in 1x than 2x in both jp and en, and hook just makes noises on 2x for both too. i thought each language had separate voice directing but maybe not idk 🤷♀️
I mean yeah, it's their job to translate and localise they're not just making the voice actors say whatever they want lol. They would receive a script and translate it as close as to the original as possible while still making it make sense to an english listener, why would they deviate and change the line to something else? They might even have the japanese lines already voiced to use as a reference, but that's way more common in anime so I'm not sure if that applies to games.
How good they improve the voice from normal to faster.. that's why i love the JP voice..
Same here. Better than the English dub. I have to give the Chinese credit, they have anime and games that Japan dubs them to Japanese.

Idk why but I'm so used to playing 2x versions it doesn't feel weird to me. Mostly because most if not all ults in Honkai Impact 3 don't waste your time and has quite sped up animations
My favorites: Jing, Qingque, Herta's Agerune. And Sushang
Sped up Preservation Caelus and Gepard is my favourite.
Are you planing on doing this for every version? I would absolutely love to see a Chinese version of this video, and then later on a Korean version if possible. Personally, i think hearing the characters saying their ult voice lines in all the available dubs its very cool, gives us tiny insight on their range in a different language and idk, i just think its cool, and i just wanna thank you for this ideo, its pretty well done, and direct to the point

March 7th' Ultimate always reminds me of that bow chick from Strike the Blood. She does the same sequence of taking an arrow from her hips while crouching when preparing a powerful shot.

so many characters that 2x speed is better and more cool i like welt blade gepard herta a lot when 2x and more characters too, but jing yuan i like to normal speed.

There are definitely some instances where I prefer the faster versions of the ultimates, like Dan Heng and Clara's, Dan Heng matches how I'd expect the fight would be paced, and Svarog's menacing glare sfx sounds so much better right after Clara's voiceline. But Jing Yuan's feels more impactful when its slowed down
