Thank you so much! Is there any difference in the thumb technique between U blades and the standard ones?
Not at all. You will still have to apply the thumb roll.
Hi there , I asked this question to so many microblading artists but no one answered me. If I did thin strokes one close to each other would they open up after healing making one block ? I see so many artist do very nice strocks one close to each other, they look really nice on fake skin or on paper but what about after healling on reall skin? Are they going to remain the same shap after healling. Please answer if you know, so many artists they don't really know. Thanks.
If the needle hit the skin perfectly, and the strokes are no more than 1mm apart, then they shouldn’t heal blocky.
It may be hard to answer your question Bc it’s not a simple answer. There are many variables. 1. Pigment. As long as you’re using a good synthetic pigment it shouldn’t bleed together and you can get your strokes super close together. (I use permablend, I ❤️ ink and phi) 2. Strokes need to be executed correctly. Meaning hitting the sweet spot (hitting the skin at a 90 degree angle) if the strokes aren’t executed properly then they won’t heal properly meaning they will bleed out and look blocky. And lastly 3. Skin type. If your client has oily skin or if it’s oily in the forehead area most likely those strokes are going to bleed together Bc of the natural oils in the clients skin. At the end of the day not many people have the “ideal” skin type for Microblading. So in order to get good healing you want to make sure you’re working on normal to dry skin with no skin conditions/sensitivities (not a bleeder). I go over all of this in my online training.
@@sarahshirley1302 thank you very much for your reply.
@@bossbrowsla thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate it. X
i think the needle depth plays enormous role, if it's too shallow it will likely disappear once it's healed, if it's too deep it will bleed and appear patchy when it heals.. for eyebrows i never go deeper than 1.5mm.. you know you should know that from the thinner head of your needles (check it out, you'll find out what i mean) , actually only this part should go in the skin..
Great video on how to twist slightly as you move through your strokes- super helpful! Could you make a video on why strokes heal blown out (blurry) and how to keep that from happening? I've taken my models and they are about 5 weeks out from their initial appointment and I'm seeing the strokes have healed blurry. Thanks so much for your content!
there are two main reasons why that would happen. 1. is poor technique. if you aren't hitting the skin at exactly a 90 degree angle then they will heal blurry. the second reason is if the client has oily skin. then they will heal blurry as well. usually its technique. I have a video that might help., check these out 👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/Gj6HDZyM_p4/видео.html

What brands of blade do you recommend?
For the most part I use my blades but if I need hard blades then I use Tina Davies. 😍bossbrowsla.com/online-store/ols/products
