Filipino here... The first animation was most likely to be based on a creature called "Tiktik" and this creature is mostly known for it's long tongue and targeting preganant women and eat their babies just like in the animation.
And btw, the chant that the old man is saying is actually "Our Father" or "Ama Namin" (words are exactly translated)
I read that as Tiktok for some reason
"Lola"means grandma so it's an old woman and "Ama namin" is actually a Tagalog ver of "Our father" (also a prayer)

When Cory asked if hamsters actually eat their babies, I looked it up and it’s true. Sometimes the mother eats their babies when they’re stressed. A hamster mother sometimes might think their child might be in danger or they don’t think they can take care of it good enough. So, they consume their children and have no problem with it. Also the father might try to eat the children for no reason sometimes so if you have two hamsters and they had children, keep the father away from the babies.

Hamsters are solitary and should not be housed together regardless.Especially Syrian hamsters, which is what these two are. 9 times out of 10, they will fight , especially if they're housed in a cage that isn't big enough for them as they're very territorial . They don't live in groups or pairs in the wild.
