Btw, the phase 2 BGM got little muffed cuz of the bug when entering matrix using counter, the BGM will keep muffing till i restart the match.

8/10 boss , i kinda want the scythe range in phase 2 a little bit longer
9/10 karen spinning on the air is just freakin sick and funny , sometimes she looks like she can fly
I expect more special moves from the boss, but too bad there is none in this boss but the animation is getting more fluid and better.

She kinda wanna golfing with that ball on its head
Honestly it's more of a 3/10 boss for me. It can't cancel its own attacks and is stuck on only using 3 moves. When it starts the animation for the combo move, it can't stop itself when the player is far away and eoll continues to attack the air. Move set need more variety and better boss ai.
I shouldn't be surprised that Luna is connected to the _Moon_ Devourer.

Actually, Luna isn't connected to the Moon Devourer. On the contrary, she helps Karen to restrain the regeneration power of the boss. So that Karen can finally destroy the core inside the boss. That Luna's cutscene is just a conversation between her and Karen before the boss fight.
So Luna is good now ?

Yes, she took back the power, escaped the moon and reunited with Alpha. After this patch, Luna might seek peaceful with human. You can wait for this patch release on global for more detail.

Not really boss did scratch her a little bit near the end. 96 damage exactly.
@@marseillejoh It did scratch her a couple of times. But her shield makes those damages non-existent.

Our main enemy now is straigh up living organism mutation and abomination now
Pgr has become like Resident evil now where enemy has become whatever abomination that could exist and I don't mind at all
If you follow and read the story, you'll know how did that happen

if you want defeat the Moon Devourer you have to become primal, wild and aggressive just like boss himself.
and Karen is perfect choise for this hunt.

this BGM for that boss is better than Lamis's theme
Radiant Marcher is a hard one to follow up on
this boss is like Sekiro Guardian ape but worse. first phase lasts a bit too long and doesn't have that many move variety so makes the fight sort of stale. 2nd phase is really cool but he has a lot of downtime. Wish they'd make his attack frequency like shark, voodoo or Radiant Marcher. His feralness doesn't come out otherwise
This feels more like an elite enemy rather than a boss in all honesty

This guy needs more reach on his second phase, plus delayed or feint attacks.
@@hachisu5288 he has a few dash attacks I feel like the distance issue would be covered if they made him faster. And I don't think feints would fit an enemy like this tbh.
Moon devourer moveset somehow feels like Phytodior from Toukiden kiwami(2013)
Thx to some experiences i got from other ARPG, at least i can predict and counter enemy patterns of this game.
7/10 for boss fight. Like something missing here and there, boss moveset not even suit to karen mechanic.

Vera vs lamia
Nanamech vs radiant
Their mechanic is counter the boss itselt and vice versa.
8/10 for karen. I think she missing sfx. I cant feel power in the swing, compared to kamui and camu (same big weapon)
I agree that while the boss rn is good, I feel like the boss should have a winged form where it fights while flying to really push for Karenina’s aerial combat mechanic and she could like knock it back crashing into the ground with a certain attack
Karenina herself just needs more explosions kekw-
And maaaaan does the new track slap so hard
After we reaching this far and pain we felt, this boss isnt really aggressive and the attack not have so much varieties and seems repetitive
and then Kuro slaps us with a more powerful and annoying boss next update lmao

Well, that animation is from stage 19-18, i just add it to make it more dramatic :D. But yu still have to read to the end tho.

They're different though. Luna is dark while Nier is physical.

I'm F2P and have enough pity for Luna 55/60 since I skipped Rosetta so I'm definitely getting her as for Nier I might skip for S chrome and his sig.
Depends on the amount of bc you have right now tbh.
nier is basically for whales, if you're f2p and have physical team with alpha you're good to go and save for luna since she's the core of dark team. but then again pull for whoever you want. for me i will pull for luna and most likely skip 2b (the other 2 are free) bc the next 2 updates they have wanshi and s chrome (i'm building ice team).
