    How long does someone have to train before the first amateur mma fight? Then how long do they have to be amateur before turning pro

    • @coachkajan
      @coachkajan  9 месяцев назад +1

      In my program your first fight comes after about 2 years. Pro is a whole other thing tho and it highly depends on how your fights go as an amateur

      I’d have to actually see the lowkick to tell you specifically what to change. Best way is to get the pro fight guide in our bio which gives you access to my community where you can send me videos to review.

    Excellent video! I have always been the smaller shorter fighter. I would ask people how to fight a taller fighter, but in the end, I figured out on my own. Josh Emmett showed how when he KOd Mitchel.- Overhand right!

      That’s the tool for when you get in, but the hardest part for me is closing the distance, finding angles once you’re in your own striking range and making them pay with combinations instead of 1 or 2 shots

      @@jocoolshow Try a couple of things. You can use independent motion also called weapon first attacks to close the distance. Second, for kicks, from your fighting stance, you can go forward 45 degrees left then a quick 45 degrees right towards your opponent. Or the same except to the right. depending on which kick is coming at you. Example, if they are throwing a kick from your right, go the left movement, left kick do right movement. Also from your fighting stance, you can go forward towards your opponent one step, then angle off 45 degrees to the side and back getting off the centerline as your opponent is coming towards where you were on the centerline. That's the best I can explain it. Once you get the concept, you can figure it out. Good luck.

      @@Docinaplane I’ve never heard of the first one. For the second one, I think I know what you’re talking about. I seen Jeff Chan do it a few times. I think he called it the double step kick or something of the sort. I’m sure others do it but he’s the first I’ve seen. Never tried it though
      I’ve been trying shifting/stance switching mid combo or after certain shots without resetting back to orthodox (my main stance) as well
      Things like 1-2 rear low kick, plant the right leg in front instead of resetting, left cross into same side rear body kick then land back in orthodox
      Or a TJ Dillashaw inspired
      Double (left) jab, switch left cross, lead right hook, double (right) jab, that dip right feint, to rear left head kick…stepping with the right jabs to get an angle
      Combo might seem long but I’m a smaller more compact guy and people say I hit hard so the respect it
