Hello! So today as the title would suggest I'm sharing what i wore in New York:) Not only everything I wore each day but a little try on haul in some of the beautiful fashion stores in NY too, plus all our favourite places to eat we'd recommend, those we wouldn't and of course everything we did on this amazing jam packed trip! Something a little different from me today that I really hope you enjoy :) I'm really looking forward to hearing from you all, has anyone else been? Eaten at the same places, what did you think? Which was your favourite outfit I tried on? Don't forget to take a look at all those gorgeous pieces from Jenni Kayne and feel free to use my 15% discount code FASHION15 bit.ly/3SPLXNV Looking forward to catching up with you all in the comments, big hugs, Jess:)
I didn't realise you came to NY, I was too busy to check youtube a month ago:) You came to our neighbourhood next to the museum, I hope you enjoyed it! For your bucket list next time I would visit Pachute, a great boutique store on the uws that brings clothes from Italy, Belgium, India, West Coast, Japan e.t.c. Also Aritzia is a favourite for great trousers and comfortable clothes at the right price. For restaurants I would recommend Planta Queen, either NoMad or Brooklyn and visit the Tin Building next time :)
I’m so glad you enjoyed NYC! Your kids will remember that trip forever! Priceless family memories! You hit so many great tourist highlights. Now you see what kind of weather we New Yorkers deal with, and how weather affects our fashion choices some days. Loved your shopping selections ~ thanks for all your hard work! 😊
So happy you enjoyed your trip to NYC! Absolutely love Pastis. Next time you come you should try The Little Prince another favorite of mine in Soho. Love all your outfits as always!
Ooh thanks so much for the recommendation, I shall add it to the list for next time:) And thank you so much for watching, really happy you enjoyed the video x
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Jess, aww you came across the pond 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. My husband is going to take me to New York (I’ve never been there). The striped one (👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽). You’ve got me hooked on stripes 😊. My absolute favorite is the ecru Jenny Kanye cardigan 😍. It looks stunning on you. The red dress extraordinary 😍😍. Yes, you need your own ice skates ⛸️(I skated for 7 years). I had the opportunity to skate in Lake Tahoe , CA on an open air rink, amazing 👏🏽👏🏽. Thank you 😊 for sharing your holiday in New York. Cheers 😉🌷
Hello Angela, so lovely to hear from you and thanks so much for watching, I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing everything we did, saw and wore in New York! Isn't that ecru cardigan gorgeous:) That hourglass shape with a knit is quite hard to create and I don't think I've ever seen it done so well, hence me needing to add that one to basket! The JK cashmere and alpacas are so incredibly soft, always a favourite. So wish I'd taken my own ice-skates too, but hey it was a tough choice between those and an extra outfit idea so sadly the big snow boots pipped them to the post;) Very exciting that you're going to head to NY! When are you headed there? Does your Husband know it well? Big hugs beautiful and thank you again for all your support:)
@@FashionStyleEdit I totally understand that you had to take your extra outfit instead of your ice skates. I'm happy you had your gorgeous snow boots with you. I would love some, but it doesn't snow that much in Las Vegas. I opted for a new pair of black ankle boots and tan ankle boots. My husband was born & raised in Philadelphia, PA. He knows NY well. We have a friend who lives in NY & fixing up his house. We hope to go either the end of this year or next year. If not then, we will go on our way to the UK & Paris, France (I hope to be able to meet you in person when we go to Europe 🤗😄). Have a lovely week & look forward to your next video. Cheers 😉🌷
@@beautyforumbyangela Ooh I'm never one to argue with a new pair of ankle boots, love a good pair in tan! I bet that's a brilliant way to see NY. 1 with someone who knows the city well and 2, even better if you already have somewhere to stay! You could save yourself a small fortune doing that! Would so love to meet you finally when you travel here, I feel like I know you so well chit chatting every week, I'm thinking we could put the world to rights over a nice glass of vino haha! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend lovely, big hugs:)
@@FashionStyleEdit Yes, love ankle boots 👢. They are so versatile. I will get a pair of snow boots when we go back east. I too feel like we have been gal pals for ages. I cannot wait to finally give you a hug 🤗❤️. A glass of vino/cuppa & some shopping 🛍️. It is one of my dreams 👏🏽👏🏽. Have a lovely week my friend across the pond. Cheers 😉🌷
Hey Jess, enjoyed this 🙂. How lucky to see NY in the snow, I bet the park looked beautiful. I'm itching to go, the last time we went was 2005!! You looked super stylish even in the Lakers hat. And bless you Mandhu 🤧 xx
Thanks for sharing Jess. I love visiting NY. Hoping to go back in the next 2 years so the food places will be handy. Loved the try ons. Your cat is so cute 🐈⬛ xx
NYC is a magical place! We spent 2 weeks there in August 2019, forever our best family trip! Soooo many things to see! Amazing memories! For sure, you have to go back for more! ❤
Aww I bet that was wonderful for 2 weeks:) That was my only downside actually, that we didn’t get to be there for longer! Thanks so much for watching lovely x
A beautiful video with a great mix of fashion and holiday! Kudos for wearing boots with heels in NYC 😊 I love Manhattan - lived there for a year back in the 90s and visit when I can - even though it’s about 26 hours from Melbourne 😌 You brought back great memories- Thanks Jess ❤️
Hey Jess, it looks like you all had a fabulous time in NYC! It’s such a great place to go and do the tourist thing. ❤ Love the new outfits and that cardigan you’re wearing throughout is stunning. So unique. Well done for escaping to go shopping!! 🥳🥳 Would love a Sézane new look book video 🙏🏻
Loved this Jess … looked like you all had a ball .. even in Siberian temperatures 😮 … really loved mooching round the shops with you .. everything gorgeous… know what you meant about boys always hungry and always eating 😅 … love to you all xxx💋
It's such a fun place isn't it Elaine! It's been a long time since I've been so it felt amazing to then experience New York with the boys this time instead:) When did you go?
@@FashionStyleEdit a few years ago now, probably about 7, but we have a significant wedding anniversary this September so I have been wondering about a short break there. Your snowy time in Central Park looked great fun - we were there one November, and the temperature was in the 70s while people were skating!
What a lovely trip Jess, I loved the looks and those things you tried on. I remember one February in New York, many, many, moons ago, when I went to the museums and a little shopping. Strange weather, with freezing cold one day and then sunny and warm roller skating in central park the next. So, as you see, not much has changed! Lol. I've never seen their zoo, but I have visited soho, and loved walking around there. I didn't know Jenni Kayne, and I loved that boxy cardigan most of all. The black Reformation dress, was absolutely amazing. I hope you bought it? Fun to see your boys having a blast in the snow. We have similar weather in Toronto, though we actually missed that really big snow storm. Thanks for this video Jess. A vicarious Holliday for me.
Next time you have to stay @theroxyhotelnyc it's the best in quiet Tribeca but walking distance to SOHO! And eating outside at Balthazar's with one of their strawberry drinks is my fave thing to do in warmer weather! Glad you had a nice time!
Happy to see you and your family enjoyed your time in New York! Loved the outfits! We went last year stayed in Soho… Looking forward to the next one… 😊
Fun video of your family trip to NYC. My family stayed in a Moxy in Miami. The price was good but the space was shockingly small. I live in the USA but have never been to NYC - it remains on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing your favorite spots!
Ty Jess. I'm 68 and I have never been to New York so this was so fun to watch. I'm still hoping to get there someday. This made it even more tempting. What a lovely city. Ty for sharing your beautiful family vacation with all of us. It looked like you had a great time.
Aww that's really lovely of you to say, I feel honoured I'm part of your Sunday morning routine:) Have a good day at work lovely and thanks so much for watching!
New York, New York! Your gorgeous video brought back memories. I took my daughter two years ago. We stayed in the Arlo, Soho and like you said about your hotel, the room was tiny but functional. We also visited The Natural History Museum and among may other wonderful places the One World Observatory. We also spent many happy hours exploring the clothes shops in Soho. Great video Jess. Great outfit choices too.❤
There is a very similar cardigan in M&S. Comes in ecru, navy and stone colour. It’s stunningly beautiful and excellent quality and price. 😊 Loved this video! ❤
So fun 🤩 this family and fashion trip❤ thank you for sharing with us. What’s the size you were wearing in Reformation? The striped v neck sweater? I love how it fits on you ❤
Haha it's so cold isn't it!! Though such an amazing experience it was so worth it! So happy to hear you enjoyed it Lynne, I don't often do vlogs but it feels like a nice change if it's something everyone enjoys:)
Looks like a fabulous trip. Makes me want to book a long weekend in New York 😍loved all the outfits too. Living the dream being able to shop at Jenni Kayne, would so love that.
Lovely to see NY and with so many nice cloths! My favourites are Central Park & shopping! I have soo many good memories and cloths from there 🥰 Thank You for sharing!
I love Ba&sh Paris. The Gaspard cardigan (you tried on in olive) is lovely, but the bracelet length sleeve doesn't look great on women with long arms, like myself. I have the boucle blazer that you tried on in the pale yellow, but in a pale cream/ecru colour. It is truly a favourite in my blazer collection. Ba&sh is also known for their knits, and I have happily added a few to my collection over the past couple of years.
❤❤❤❤❤ Hello Jess! Amazing trip .... beautiful outfits .... sweet explanation of all lovely details .... what a VIDEO!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you so very much!
What a fun video! I also love Jenny Kayne, have many pieces, including the cooper you’re wearing, also Reformation. You look great, even when you think you don’t.
Thank you for sharing your family and fashion trip to NY!! I live in Winnipeg, Canada and hope to see New York one day soon! Thanks for the tips on what to see, where to eat and especially where to shop!! You made beautiful choices!🥂
Morning Jess Absolutely loved this, what fun you all had. Your lads have grown so much. I even liked the puffa coat. Great snow fun ... such a great vid. Hope you're ok, enjoy your Sunday xx
Fab video, it's over 20 years since I visited NY and it still remains one of my favourite places. It's just so vibrant and interesting. So glad you all had a great time and made those special memories.
Hi Jess, how lucky you were to see NY in the snow, bet the park was gorgeous. You looked stylish even with the Lakers hat 😁. I'm itching to go, the last time we visited was 2005! And bless you Mandhu 🤧 xx
Gorgeous. Glad you had an amazing time. We loved New York. We loved looking in the fashion sample stores in the West Village, I got a lovely mini dress/tunic. The food is amazing. Would love to go back but many new places on the travel list. X
Loved the video! Goodness you packed so much into your trip, I love New York and really admire your braving the subway, I found it pretty scary so opted for yellow taxis!
Delightful video as always! You guys packed a lot of stuff into just a few days. I’m an American, living in Michigan, and I’ve never been to New York! Soon, I hope! Love the sweaters you purchased! The cardigan is stunning.
Haha we did! I needed a holiday after all that;) But such an amazing trip and even better to be able to experience that with my boys:) Happy Sunday Katherine and thank you so much for watching x
I'm a huge fan of your channel, and a New Yorker of 22 years, so I'm glad you had such a fun visit! Also, you happened to be ice skating in the park at the same time as my daughter's school! I saw one of her teachers in your video. What a small world! And finally a question- in the Jenni Kayne sweaters, what sizes were you modeling in store? I've been wanting to try her- I need to find the time to get over there!
No way! How funny is that! Yes the ice rink was packed, beautiful blue skies that day though so it felt really special:) With Jenni Kayne I always think they’re very true to size. All the knitwear I’m wearing is a small or uk 10, actually thinking about it I don’t think I’ve ever deviated from that at JK:) So glad you enjoyed the video Nikki and thanks so much for watching x
So glad you enjoyed the video:) I do think they’re true to size however if you want it slightly more oversized than me I would consider sizing up, it’s a beautiful ‘forever’ coat:)
Good morning! Looks like you all had a fantastic time. We've been toying with the idea to take our teenage boys to New York. Was it worth it? That black dress was absolutely stunning on you 😍
I absolutely love the cardigan you chose from Jenni Kayne. I wish they carried petite sizes. Thanks for sharing your trip to NYC. My husband and I are heading there next week to visit our daughter and grandkids. We go there at least twice a year. By the way, we are planning our first trip to Great Britain at the end of September. Weather wise, is that a good time of year to go and would staying in Manchester for two days be worthwhile? From there our thoughts are to visit Liverpool for a day trip. Of course we will be staying in London a few days as well as Bath. Thanks for sharing your trip to NYC. Yes, the restaurants can be pricey, but most of the food is quite yummy. You looked wonderful in all your outfits!
Hi Christine, I’m so sorry lovely I’ve tried to add captions but I don’t know how to make it work:( I always think the button is pressed and then it never works! If anyone knows please tell me 🙏😘
Your kitty is so loving. Love yiur Jenni items. Thanks for visiting my city. Balthazar is overpriced and over rated. NYC has so many amazing restaurants at reasonable prices.
I’m surprised people recommend French restaurants when visiting NYC. Maybe I’m not sophisticated enough, but I’m all bagels, pizza and Chinese whenever I visit 😂
Your cat wants to sit on your lap very badly, he/she might be cold. Or have a “cold” hence the sneezing. Time for a catnap with your eager little friend.
Goodmorning Jess, I took my daughter to NY for her 16th Bday and we skipped getting of at the Statue of Liberty too. The weather was beautiful, but the waiting line was just ridiculous 🙄I bet you’ve made some wonderful memories together. By the way, I just saw the spring look book from Sezane 🤩🫶🏻Ingeborg

Loved New York, love you ❤
Aww love you too:))
Thank you for sharing your NYC travel! I love your olive color coat from Jenni Kayne! Do you find it fit pretty true to size or should I size up?
What a fun video, thank you for sharing :)
Your kitty is quite the ham😻
Love your video, I love NY, and i am sure you did have a great time. Come back soon.
Great Video! Isn’t it strange when your boys are old enough to now have their own room?! We get adjoining rooms now, and it’s a bit sad!
Oh I know it feels like a big change doesn't it:( And an expensive one!
Please include captions. I want to know what you’re saying but it’s hard with your lovely accent.🌹
Hi Christine, I’m so sorry lovely I’ve tried to add captions but I don’t know how to make it work:( I always think the button is pressed and then it never works! If anyone knows please tell me 🙏😘
Loving your cat - totally stole the show!!
Fantastic video! Thanks.
My pleasure:)
Your kitty is so loving. Love yiur Jenni items. Thanks for visiting my city. Balthazar is overpriced and over rated. NYC has so many amazing restaurants at reasonable prices.
Welcome to New York!
I’m surprised people recommend French restaurants when visiting NYC. Maybe I’m not sophisticated enough, but I’m all bagels, pizza and Chinese whenever I visit 😂
Wow! Wonderful!!!
So glad you enjoyed it Melinda:)
I’d wear Kevlar.
What was the Name of your Hotel please?
Bonjour de Paris!🗼🇨🇵
Bathlazar is overrated & known bad reputation for snobbery
This should have been labeled AD.
