Hey cyclon, with the new higher chance to have content in your maps. We dont really know how blocking impacts the chance for content to appear in your maps. Blocking should result in a higher chance for other content to appear. But for example master missions can only appear once in your maps, as well as blight and expedition. So if we manage to get 100% chance for this content, it is a waste to block other content. You can also argue the other way around. Maybe its good to block content in your maps so you dont have to take all the %chance to have the content in your map and still reach 100%. For example in you Jun/Expedition tree, you have taken all the nodes that make Jun appear in your maps, resulting in 104% to have Jun in your maps. In addition you block 6 types of content, giving you an additional 12% to have Jun in your maps. That means you are overcapped by 16%. So, you are able to drop 'Pillage and Plunder' and the 2 nodes leading up to it and still have 100% chance to have Jun in your maps. Netting you 3 'free' atlas points.
The blocking nodes are questionable ATM, I agree. To note is that they only give chance for extra content that is blockable. So Jun isn't affected. So if we only have expedition non blocked then it's guaranteed expedition chance but if we have few non blocked it applies to those too. My argument is we get more deli mirrors, abysses and heist caches which benefit us more then a non specialised/focused blight or legion based on the example.
im 100% sure that the map sustain is going to be shit on the legion/expe tree in early tho. Might aswell get a tree with full map sustain and progress and then switch to another tree when you have it
The question then would be is the chance for a "random" master same, so just more kirac missions or is going to be reduced to the portion kirac was of the random chance for any master.
Assuming every drop is profit, sure we will lose some, tho we get jump boost in progression, at any point when you saved up 20 passive points you can spec out of it and get scarabs again. id argue getting most of the good stuff dropped 20 map completions earlier will be overall better then all of the good stuff 20 map completions later. especially cause this should theoretically help us progression through the atlas quicker/better.
Not sure about blocking content/scarabs nodes while speccing for scarabs. My assumption would be that you lose those blocked scarab drops(ie they don't reroll into an unblocked scarab).
They just remove from roll pull same as league mechanics. Isolate 1-2 desired league, make it 100% proc each map and you have stable farm without investment. After some time of farming your scarab stash be full with desired scarab and you can start to juice maps.
that is a valid assumption and it will need testing, it is very likely that they just vanish we seen that before, the question is if its worth getting those scarabs or not seeing those mechanics/ higher chance for mechanics that can appear in multiple like breach or legion.
You can apply the same principle for abyss, get the "core" first then grab abyss spawn chance and blocking and after grab all the abyss nodes you want and finish with influence + support mechanic. However Abyss does not get only up to 74% base spawn chance and only with 24% packsize per map do you reach 100%, it looks a bit risky for early, but I can see it viable once you have enough atlas progression. quick example of a finished abyss focus tree: poeplanner.com/a/xTL
Jun's "Intelligence Gathering" should absolutely be worth it, assuming build can handle Catarina. After 3.24 just want to spam catarina now that you don't need to try to place aisling, vorici etc. if I'm thinking correctly.
I can see your point, my assumption is that the members might affect mastermind drop rates or they still matter somewhat, but if not def intelligence gathering is free additional progress.
There's no reason at all to invest any points in the blocked content nodes if you can't drop scarabs anyway. With 100% chance to spawn a league mechanic, the only reason to take those is to target farm scarabs. Otherwise just skip content you don't want to do.
I understand what you mean, my argument is the content blocking helps with getting more of a mechanic like legion, abyss or breach, which can appear multiple times and to increase odds of random deli mirror or heist cache that are worth something early. Atleast more then a random mechanic you haven't speced into. I am split atm between they still good take or with 100% chance like you pointed out, skip em.

i gues this heavily depends on how common kirac missions gona be, but i can kinda see it too.
If the league mechanic beats rog, then can possibly skip expo
In 3.23 you were able to get more than 1 master mission per map, the extra chance from the atlas were on top of getting a potential random one.
The question then would be is the chance for a "random" master same, so just more kirac missions or is going to be reduced to the portion kirac was of the random chance for any master.
Are we not afraid that having no scarabs drop will lower profit? With the node that gives you 20 points?

@@CyclonDefinitiv true, 20 points are worth way more then 1/2 scarabs per map on average, i think
Thanks for the video

I love doing abyss content, is there any chance you might create one for Abyss etc?

why would you not need to place them?
