Same here, when you are going through this incideous disease, it's very difficult to explain if you have not been through it, I took lost my hair, eyebrows and lashes and it takes sometimes to recover and I was in my 70s.

It genuinely looks like an A level student art assignment (a good one for a teenager but not a professional portrait artist). I hope it gave William and Catherine great chuckle.

The Tatler painting is horrible like a child painted it. When I first saw it I thought it was a joke. Like it or not, although King Charles' latest portrait was controversial in that it was provocative with its use of the color red - nobody can fault the artist for his skill. The face and craftsmanship of it was impeccable. This painting of Catherine is primitive, like something you'd expect from a high school art class. The face has no resemblance to the Princess of Wales and isn't even rendered well, the body is misshapen and out of proportion and even the blue sash is childish looking.

As a cancer patient I can assure you that nowadays Chemo can be modified to NOT cause hair loss. I have very long hair and that was a big "vanity" problem of mine. I was assured, correctly, that my hair would show no distress and that's how it was!

Different types of cancer require different types of chemo. Some are able to be modified to decrease hair loss. But there are some chemo drugs, or combinations of, that will cause hair loss. It’s definitely not a one-size-fits-all medication.

The ‘portrait’ of our Princess of Wales is dreadful: imo it doesn’t look anything like her. If that was the best one, I dread to think what the others were like.
The Tatler painting is horrible like a child painted it. When I first saw it I thought it was a joke. Like it or not, although King Charles' latest portrait was controversial in that it was provocative with its use of the color red - nobody can fault the artist for his skill. The face and craftsmanship of it was impeccable. This painting of Catherine is primitive, like something you'd expect from a high school art class. The face has no resemblance to the Princess of Wales and isn't even rendered well, the body is misshapen and out of proportion and even the blue sash is childish looking.

As a cancer patient I can assure you that nowadays Chemo can be modified to NOT cause hair loss. I have very long hair and that was a big "vanity" problem of mine. I was assured, correctly, that my hair would show no distress and that's how it was!

Different types of cancer require different types of chemo. Some are able to be modified to decrease hair loss. But there are some chemo drugs, or combinations of, that will cause hair loss. It’s definitely not a one-size-fits-all medication.

You still have to dress appropriately for your figure, shape, and be graceful, elegant.
