I'm a retired law enforcement officer from Missouri. I never knew the history of the founding of Make-a-Wish, but watching this... there just weren't enough tissues. It felt like I had just lost a fellow officer. I am amazed. Thank you, Make-a-Wish founders for making this little guy's dream come true.

My brother at 11 years old was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma he's been in remission since 1989. He's 46 now. Make A Wish granted his wish to go to Disneyland in LA. Also to Knott's Berry Farm. Thank you Make A Wish for what you do for so many children. Rest Easy Christopher👮🚓🚔🚁
I am a UK wish child. In 1998 I had hodgkins lymphoma and make a wish sent me to Disney world in florida. The holiday was a complete dream, the memories I have with my family are priceless. I'm lucky enough to be here today to repay make a wish by being a volunteer and helping to make other wishes come true!!! Such an amazing charity that I owe so much too. Thank you doesn't seem to cut it xxx

Wow. If you watch this one with dry eyes, you better check your heart. I had no idea how this began. This touched me beyond words. RIP little buddy and to all the precious kids who lost their lives far too young.

What a tragic, but powerful story, about the young boy Chris, who bravely battled leukemia. I heard about Make A WIsh in the late 1980’s. And I would have liked my younger brother, Robert, who also had leukemia, to have received a wish, too. However, he passed away in 1978. He had fought the disease for 7 years, and was in remission for 5 years.
Anyway, I’m glad that this foundation was formed, as so many future terminally ill children have benefited from it.
Thank you young Chris for being the catalyst for Make A Wish.
I was a wish kid when I was little girl I got to go to Disney world and nickelodeon with my family. Born and raised in Arizona
Knowing that Make a wish started in Arizona is so sweet and such a blessing to so many kids
My niece went to Disney World, back in the early 80’s, through Make a Wish Foundation (in Canada). It’s had a global impact for a all those years. I’m grateful her Mum had that special experience with her while she was alive.

As a wish child, I'd like to say something. In early September I was accepted. Just today my sister and I got letters about our trips. Mine to Walt Disney World. I've heard about Make a wish all my life, but never understood the power and importance it brings to a sick child's life. I gave a heart condition and I'm constantly worried. My trip is pushing me to continue. I always tell myself "Do it for your make a wish trip" It just gives you strength and hope on fighting again, this time stronger. I can't thank you guys enough for what you do. This comment won't do its justice. I just want to hug the founders and co-founders and just say thank you personally. Being accepted my day. Week. Month, and probably the rest of my life. Even though I haven't gone yet, I know this trip I will remember until the day I die. I have two words for you. Just two words that go so much deeper and mean so much more. Thank you.

I tried to find someone with this name, I only did a 5min quick search but I only found 2 people with this name (not that they couldn't have a different name) and found 2 ladies who passed away who were 86 and 94yrs old, oh and a 5month old baby were ALL I could find with this name. I hope this poster is okay, but doesn't seem promising since they haven't replied in all this time 😕 💔

Wish Man... This movie about the Make - a - Wish Foundation is based on this incredible story of love, strength, familiar bonds and forgiveness... It's by far, the greatest of tearjerkers. If it don't make you cry, maybe you're already dead.

We have a golden retriever!!! They are the best!!!!!

It's always great when one person affects millions. Keep doing an amazing job Make A Wish foundation. You guys are the best! Bringing smiles to people's faces is the best joy you could do!
I believe no child or young adult should have to suffer through illness. But the reality is that in our reality and time, it happens. I am so grateful that an organization like "Make-A-Wish" is available to make these youngsters happy, even if for one day. I can only hope that some day children and young people, and possibly the whole human race will be free of all the terrible diseases that plague us.

I just watched a movie based on Make A Wish foundation. The movie is free on YT called the Wish Man.. its a very beautiful and inspiring story.
We need more documentaries like this, as well as movies based on true stories that inspire and uplift. This kind of content warms our hearts and brings us comfort, offering rays of hope for the future in a world that seems to be getting tougher every day. Such stories can illuminate the resilience and kindness of the human spirit, encouraging us to believe in the possibility of positive change and a better tomorrow.
I’ve always wondered how this amazing organization got started. THANK YOU for sharing the very first Wish Story that started one of the best organizations in the world. Much love, respect and hope for many, MANY more granted wishes from Germany ❤
I watched Wish Man last night on Netflix. Now I am looking up the videos here of Frank who started Make a wish. I never cried so hard watching a movie.

How do you know when it's a real Wish? Well, to me, in my heart, maybe different than yours, maybe not, a Wish isn't just something you feel. A Wish, a real and deep one, makes your heart swell up. A Wish is brighter, stronger than a hope or a dream. A Wish, it's the bursting joy that feels right around the corner, something so exciting and so true to your heart that nothing, nothing could tell you it's impossible. You know better, when it's a Wish.
A Wish, when you think of it, makes you want to drop everything you're doing, leave where you are, right there, right then, every time you think of it, you want to go. Or be. Or do that Wish.
To make it real. More than anything.
