This is a great organization. Lots of intersections. When I worked there I helped create a program called wish gatherings… and helped develop the concept of the wish makers ball… in central florida… So Many Humans… You know who was usually one of my first volunteers to help… my big brother Brandon… true story…. The people engaged and working on projects… giving people ways to help or confidence. It helps.

When I hear people who are anti sports I show them videos like this. It's bigger than winning or losing. It's the joy of the game. Seeing the joy kids get no amount of money could buy! It's very sad because every kid should be able to play sports even if they aren't good it's bigger than that. Hope many many more kids that have medical conditions can have a make a wish experience! I'd gladly pay extra in taxes to help fund organizations like this.

I had heart surgery but his was worst I'm glad he's ok and that he got his wish and I had one of the little heart shape pillows too. hope he lives a long happy life
What a heart-wrenching story - it would be the best story in the world if some day (soon!) doctors are able to devise a way to make Devan's heart whole, healthy and as indestructible as possible - and we can see him on the gridiron doing what he loves best.
