- Atlanta-based farmer Jamila Norman helps families transform their outdoor spaces into functional backyard farms while exploring the joy and benefits of growing your own food.
Watch the new season of #Homegrown Saturdays at 1/12c on #MagnoliaNetwork on TV, @DiscoveryPlus, and @StreamOnMax.
Jamila Norman is the real deal. Before owning her own land, she had sustained at least 3 urban farms in Atlanta's West End, while raising three boys. She is also a welcome staple at the Grant Park Farmer's Market.
I’m a Georgia boy (63 years young) and lead a small group for gardening, I am passionate now, I wasn’t as a young person though, until my dad who loved it passed away, I now think of him while I’m in my garden, and see how God uses gardening and His Holy Word to speak to me, it’s a beautiful thing. I would love to see your Eden garden someday, and bring a group of rookies with me lol, I love what you are doing.❤
When will there be more episodes? I check three times a day! I’m a woman of color and I’ve never seen someone who looks like me gardening on TV. Please, please bring more episodes.
Yes you have look past skin color and you will see we are all the same! The difference is no one has done this kind of gardening on tv...why does it matter what color your skin is? This show is awesome!
@Lorial One episode was featured at the beginning of the year and the rest of the episodes started in July.
@@bebebrez-kal9136 That's so easy to say when you're the one always represented. It's important for media to represent all of society...that means women of color, trans, gay, elderly, people who are in wheelchairs. We all are a part of society so everything should not feature white, you, able-bodied, CIS people. Why isn't this obvious to you? Children, especially, need to see people who look like them doing wonderful things in order to dream it as a possibility for themselves. Please think deeper before posting something that sounds inclusive but doesn't work in the best interest of others who should not be invisible in certain spaces. Not all little black girls want to be pop stars or sports figures. Seeing someone like this urban farmer will inspire a little brown girl to say, "I can be like her!"
Amazing!
It is good for a person to be proud of their race religion gender or even preference. If they are living in accordance to validate such a belief. In other words if you were truly interested in having a lavished garden there are thousands of ways to get this Intel if not millions. And I would say more importantly in your case you need to look up the scientific definition of black and white. Because black is the absence of light. White is the reflection of light. Meaning true black has no color dark brown and so forth and so on can be classified as color.
Please bring this show back for more episodes!!! It is an amazing show!!!!!
I can’t get enough of this show. I’m a junior gardener and have learned some much from Jamilia. Her passion for her craft is contagious and I’m so excited to view her next season. Magnolia network this show is a keeper!
Jamila Norman Please come to Texas and help my fruit trees and garden
I love gardening so much. I had a tiny garden in the middle of Los Angeles for five years. I grew the best tomatoes I've ever tasted. I realized tomatoes at the grocery store don't have flavor because they're picked too soon. I also grew okra, kale, onions, peppers and lots of herbs. All in two small raised beds in the front of my gated apartment building.
I just found this tv show and love it!! Please don't stop having new episodes !
I love her. I've been following her on RUclips and was shocked watching Magnolia Network this morning and found her show. How did I miss this? Well, I work midnights so lol. I'm so excited. I'm learning to make a home garden after becoming vegan a few years ago. Let’s see how this garden goes. 🙏🏾❤

me and my mom absolutely love this show! please make more episode and play it on your network more!! :)
where are the new episodes? I loved this first show!
Wow! Amazing harvest!
I really like this show. I wish, though, every few shows they would show how to do a backyard garden that might use upcycled materials, more diy from the people that live there or even volunteers to make it look more affordable. Most of the landscape plans kind of look like it is the most expensive garden ever. . .
This is beautiful ☺️
I absolutely love your show. And you look so beautiful in your head scarves. :-)
Beautiful! 😄💗🙌
I love this show. It is no longer in the schedule of Magnolia?

Ernie c California
I would love to get some support starting a garden in my backyard in Philadelphia. I have plenty of space and very little no how. started by maintaining a sweet pollinator garden the former owner started.
I am only watching a show now for the first time. But my question will lye around seasons. We get all 4 seasons like crazy in Lake Ontario region.
I wish we had someone who could come help give us a lay out. Just a pie shaped Home & Property. With a 18 x 36 rectangular pool occupying the pie tip.
I love this
I inherited 76 acres of forestland in Southern Virginia and I have No Clue what to do with it! Be nice if someone like Chip or Joanna could contact me for this show.

Are you still on Magnolia Network?
Sad that these TV series you can't watch in other countries.
How does one go about getting you to come to my house to teach me
Wow
This is beautiful Hire me I will work for FREE!!
It's a shame that the magnolia network has countless home improvement shows to the point of annoying but a show that is not only entertaining it would teach more people how to be self sufficient and healthy. That's probably why it's not on anymore. They need people overweight and in need.
