Felix said he wrote this song so that people know that no matter who you are, you deserve to be loved. He said that he wrote this song from the perspective of Beast from "Beauty and the Beast". In the movie, Belle leaves but she comes back and love saves the Beast and breaks the curse. For Felix's song, when Belle left, she didn't come back. The curse ran its course instead. He died without his true love.
His vocals in this song are top tier. His range is truly amazing. Also, I think Felix did a fantastic job writing the lyrics and portraying his message in the MV. (Some of the "Beauty and the Beast" references- Belle, Beast, human inside, the rose, Gaston, tale as old as time...)

YES! The very 1st time I heard him perform this song in concert, I thought this is so Linkin Park "In the End"... I loved all of SKZ solos but I feel Felix gave us a masterpiece when it came to the MV... My boy went ALL out! He really is so versatile, and I'm also glad he gets to showcase it.
It's hard to comprehend his versatility. His deep voice alone would be enough to make him iconic but then add his insane range all the way to a beautiful falsetto, incredible raps and flow, dance, lyricism, production, visuals, fashion and his ability to continually trend. It's all quite a package. The mv showcases all of that beautifully and is so full of cinematic appeal and symbolism, it's just stunning.
