Hardy has always been a great songwriter but damn he's getting better at singing everyday. He's got to be very confident right now and deserving of it.
Screen as far as the wordplay starting the song talking about phone screens and ending talking about looking through porch screens is very similar to what he does with the song a rock, and the chorus is very similar to give heaven some hell. Idk if it’s intentional but it’s like he took the two things that made those songs big and put them together, smart play

I already have turned off the news and listen to my fav artists and PBS all the documentaries of animals and all birds, and history of all societies before us and the new discoveries! Love it! ps Hardy you, Morgan, and Ernest are up there every day for me to listen to. I may be 72 but I actually wrote letters to the award shows that ignored Morgan. I cried when I watched him accept the first awards! (I'm very good writing letters-I know how to make people think... LOL) I saw you next to him and just knew he would be ok....I still have the double album unopened but the cd's are played! I love your song with Lainey Wilson! ❤ Sally

It sucks that streaming music has cut into songwriter pay so much so that they have to perform now in order to make money. I like Hardy as person from the interviews I've seen, but it's clear that songwriting is his talent.
