This ship is probably in the right spot. It’s been very inconsistent in my experience. Sometimes accuracy is very good & other times not so much. While it absolutely rocks in one game, it’s abysmal in the next.
They could’ve made Republique Legendary. But if this ship had triple turrets I could see the Patrie being Legendary. Just tweak the stats, not that complicated lol.
Republique screams T8 to me. I can't see it as a Legendary. One could make the same argument with Musashi but nobody will since Yamato exists already. I wouldn't be against dropping a Legendary ship with a new French name at L tier with a tad more HP and oomph.
T8 is literally the same as legendary. Some tier 8 before nerfs were more powerful than lots of legendary like Salem being much better than de Moines and ruprecht being better than most legendary bb.
I use a tank build on République and I buff the reload, the base accuracy is enough in my opinion, so I have a somewhat tanky ship with incredible reload for its gun, great range and good accuracy

I dunno, I play the constellation like a lite cruiser and took out 2 Richelieus. Probably more to do with the skill of those 2 than the actual ship. I've switched over to French bb's lately and they are absolutely badass to play.

I feel like the bourgugne should’ve got the repubs turrets and gun in the triple gun configuration
pc has this its called Patrie and its a supership (tier 11), it would be too strong at our legendary tier.

This thing always been cracked. But it isn’t called Yamato so the masses don’t flock to it.

Can't agree Ron. Repub' makes $ at T8. It would not at LT IMO.
The current LT French BB should of been tier 8 and Repub should of been LT
No. This is not a legendary tier ship. Those battleships went broadside to you. Good positioning on your end. Repub is a decent ship on tier 8
