I have this cooling a 7800x3d with a AM5 mounting plate, it idles in Windows around 50-55C. Cools everything well but I would have preferred something that could get me into the 40C range that isn't a huge cooler that blocks my ram. I think it would have been smart of them to include another fan. Hopefully someone will make something that fits this criteria in the near future.
Are there any other small coolers you'd recommend ahead of this one? Around the same price point or maybe a bit higher. Just curious what would be most ideal for a smaller space
hey just wonder, are u ordering these from amazon to review and then return them? lol how you get so many coolers to reviews? btw i came from your Prism vs Notte video and i appreciate it man. its hard to find a good video to tell the difference between the two.
I'm getting these Coolers directly From Thermalright Bud have been since 2022 like any other product you see on the channel I get directly from brands I work with
@@WELSHYTECH thats great to hear man. i tried to use your link because i needed to buy a 2 fan version of the prism. but ur link only worked for uk cause it took me to the EU website of amazon. but thanks again for the videos man.! can't wait till u get a better production going cause the materials are solid!
I have a 7600x that I’m going to rebuild soon into an ncase m2. My question is whether you think I should add a second fan to this cooler? I also may be upgrading to a 7800x 3D soon, so would this cooler be enough?
Honestly I'd get either the Orignal Assassin or the Phantom But adding another fan could work but the Fan is a 135mm fan and is designed for this cooler
Will this PA120 mini be too large for my 9700x? (That's right, i have the infamous zen 5 cpu. Anyways, im contemplating between this and the PA90 SE you had recently reviewed.
The temperature difference isnt that much isnt it? I wanna buy this since i dont really like hsf that too big. Im planning to use it for Ryzen 7900 or maybe 7900x undervolted, what do you think?
Looks like an effective little cooler!
(Nice to see the varied comparison charts appearing too 😁)
I did say I'd start to add more Coolers to my reviews
Such a tidy little cooler 😍. Thermalright really have their fingers on the pulse of the consumers nowadays! Tidy review my man! 👍😉.
Thank you appreciate it

You could just buy a 135mm fan and add it
also it's normal for AM5 CPUs to idle at high
What's your ambient temperature? for me 50-55c is still quiet normal for AM5

what CPU do you have that's the more important question then I can go from there

@JamesColeman12 that's something I'm already working on but it's a slow process
My spare room will be a shooting area

Can you please compare the Noctua NH D12L? It seems to be the most reasonable competitor
I have the NH-D12L Chromax Black here, any it's only 2 degree difference

This should be fine as long as you are not overclocking Link for this is in the description
@@WELSHYTECH the 120 mini should be fine, you mean? Thanks in advance.
@@eugenehcleung Yes the 120 Mini should be fine and no problem at all anymore Questions I'm always around to answer
Looks better than Peerless though! I'm all form over function 😂
its just a smaller version of the Peerless
I was going to get spirit phantom but fan blocks my rgb ram. Will this mini not block my rgb rams?
if you watch the video I do show it installed with RGB memory
what gpu is that mabe???... see the dimensions maybe realy fix on z11 this mini
Rx 7600XT
1:25 thats was she said
Lol 😆
Can it block the ram slots on more tiny mb formats like mini atx?
Nope as there's only 1 fan and it's in the middle so ram clearance is great

I mean the temperature the og and mini
If you plan on undervolting, then it should be fine
Thank you!
How does the noise level of mini compare to the OG? Would you say it's noticeably louder?
The original peerless it a lot louder
@@WELSHYTECH wow, that's something I didn't expect. Since mini is both cheaper and quieter, I'll get it, thanks 👍
@@krxlion79 no problem
Can this handle my R5 5600x and how good will it handle the 5600x? Thankyou sir
Yes will be fine
Can this cooler handle r7 7800x3d or 7900x3d??
I'd honestly go with something that will give you more head room in terms of cooling
