    I started with just walking and will progress further as you said I also used to run and I started again yesterday slowly progressing is better than hitting 10 k instantly and being in pain for 10 days.

    Sir I was 110 kg I was addicted to running 10-15kms daily I have ligament injury I did warmup everytime I was a multi addict sir 5 years back I've done each and every addiction now I'm getting depressed as I have ligament injury and used puma 11K prize shoes still I'm injured guy I'll suggest if you have weight 80 above you should count every step or else knee will be injured I'm depressed pray for me Jay shree Ram Jay Hanuman aapki ek sadichha mere liye mujhe hanumanji ki kripa se bahar nikalegi mai medically bhi ja rha hu😢

      Calorie intake burn se jyada hai isliye . Kuch time ke baad body same running ke liye pehle se kam calorie burn karti hai . Ya to running distance kar do ya sprint maaro with exercise best is hiit .

      Hi ...I personally think that being overweight for a long time puts more pressure on the knees then Running does. To start with only slow jog can never cause harm to any joint .. if it's done after proper warm up.
      The hard surface of road can be compensated by the cushion in our Running shoes.
      If you are a Beginner just try to run your natural way just to get accustomed to Running.

    Hii doctor mujhe 45 to 50 or 60 days me 5km 17 minutes or 18 minutes me complete krna hai. Rainy season chalu hai.

      Avoid junk food... Have home cooked food. No strict diet. Just consistency in exercise & run.

      Start with slow run walk.. gradually go on increasing timings.

      Outdoor running or Treadmill both have it's pros & cons. As far as how much km to do .. then I would suggest go slow ..listen to your body.

      Many mobile running apps are there, i use Runkeeper App. Since I run on same route, so I am aware of each km on that route and then for time watch can be used. Oresle I run with my mobile in hand.

      Start gradually with run walk then after few weeks go in increasing your mileage.
      Also focus on strength training, drills, flexibility. Warm up & cool down is equally important. 👍
