Being without hope is the greatest poverty of all. I am glad that you have it again. For what its worth, you have been a source of hope for myself and others. Love you brother!
Great video, dude! Always super inspiring. I finished 100 Days of Making Comics about a year ago. It was transformative! I’m also clawing my way out of some situations at the moment. Sometimes when we’re cornered is when we become the most ferocious (in a good way) Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Belated congrats on finishing that 100 Days of Making Comics! I love the way you put it… It is completely true that when our backs are against the wall, we can either fall or fight, and I like the ferocious option! All my best, and I hope you have an awesome, ferocious 2025!
Coming from a surfer spirit trapped in a young airborne g.i. stationed in Germany during the 80s... I understand the allure the hypnotic pull of skate boading. One of my fondest memories was sneaking in to the premiere skating event in Germany called the Münster Monster Mastership and getting a press pass for the Stars & Stripes. As a reporter ( my buddy from Cali who knew a bunch of the legends) and me (the photographer with a cool fancy camera and lenses ) Partied with legends like Steve Caballero Lance Mountain Mark Rogowski Rodney Mullen And of course Tony Hawk. I asked my buddy why's that dude always spinning on his board after each run?🤔 "That's just what Rodney does" was his simple reply. Thanks dude for that. 💪 Haven't thought about that in over 30+ years.
That’s rad! I love that! I used to work in the skate industry as an illustrator. I shook hands with Tony Hawk once when one of my bands played a Thrasher Skater of the Year party. I still keep my toes in that world and still have good friends from that time. I’m stoked if I was able to spark some good memories, especially if it involves skating and/or surfing!
This is one of the most manly videos I've seen in a while. Admitting you have issues and solving them by yourself and seeking proper guidance when needed is something we all should do. Thanks for being an example!
Just as there are those who love it when you fail… There are those of us that are rooting for you and love when you succeed. We love you just in general.👍👍
Thank you, Krishna! I would love to hang and draw with you! It’s been too long. If you still have the same phone number, I’ll send you a text or email if not.
Kevin...that was superb. Not only because of the quality of the film, but for the braveness of publicly telling the truth about your life. Not many are brave enough to do that. The struggles we go through in life, can make us or break us. From the short time I've known you, I can see they've been the making of you. The road ahead will be full of ups and downs, but I have no doubt that you can 'roll with the punches' and overcome the obstacles you'll face along the way. To a certain extent, we're all winging it, hoping we make the right choices. You're not on your own. Proud of you my friend.
Thank you so much, James! This all comes with much appreciation. I believe what you are doing, on your channel, is also very brave. I’m happy to be in good company on this quest.
"You dumb duck it's been right there in front of you the whole time" that gave me a laugh haha. Glad to hear you're still making progress and still moving forward! Looking forward to seeing what you bring to the table in 2025!
Man, I wish I was here for the original version of your channel. I think the mustache suits you 👍 That hamburger with eyes on wheels looks so cool and funny. That's a great comic cover you did for Grommets. That's awesome that you're getting back to the things you love.
Thank you for all your kind words, Dylan! I think as my channel moves forward, it’ll have elements of the original channel, but will be better. Happy 2025!!!
Love seeing you back and posting vids, I’ve always loved following your creative endeavors. I’m glad you are making a real effort to turn your life around. I gotta say though, love the goth band look. I just started dabbling in some animations myself. Nothing too fancy, just wanted to try it out. I’d love to see what you’re up to with that. Take care!
Thank you, Matt! Funny thing… I’m sitting here in the goth makeup now. Animation is rad because it really helps boil the art down to what is crucial and effective. If you get too detailed, it’ll make you go crazy. Ha! Happy 2025!
@ I been relatively decent. It was good hearing all the positivity and creativeness in your life. I dig that grommets cover! Sorry about 2024 being cruddy. Let’s for sure do some old man skatin’ this summer!

Very insperational, very transformational.
Thanks, man! I appreciate it!
