Always on point. Covers should be hors-d'œuvre to what you'll find inside, but sometimes they can spoil the rest of the course. There's rarely consensus when picking covers.
Thank you and well said! I like when a cover creates gives you something to really latch your teeth into and makes you want to see more. It is hard to make that connection when you don't feel drawn in by the subject.
Great insights as always. Do you think cover typography is a serious consideration pre-shoot any more? It used to be a really big deal, but it seems like the typography is really an afterthought oftentimes in recent years. I kind of like the Olivia Colman cover but it sort of looks like a test shot. I bet it could’ve been really fun. Keep up the great work. Love your content.
Thanks Tim! I think they are more concerned with what the photo will look like on instagram rather than the typography. 😆 The British Vogue covers were getting high energy from the subjects, besides Kate Moss and the daughter, but the joy wasn't mirrored in the clothes or set design.
What were your favorite covers from December?

Good work as usual Marco! Looking forward your videos about colorism in the modeling industry and the scouting at refugee camps.
Thank you, and I'll try and have them done next month!

Nice review Marco.
Thank you Kent! Any of the covers stood out to you?
Nicki looked great! The white on white was flat and more grey than white. Dazed rocked!@@THEMODELGENE
