You did awesome. This is a beautiful build. I love the details. I'm building a new castle right now and I was searching for ideas. Your build has given me a ton! I'm going to use a lot of your techniques.
This is a MASSIVE Castle. I'm just finishing Brick Nottingham Castle for my city, as it happens, but mine is a mashup of 1980s sets rather than this fantastic creation. Well done!
Fantastic Castle!!! Very clever usage of the large shield parts on the exterior. I really enjoyed the all the unique rooms, such a wonderful build. Thanks for sharing BtB!
Thank you! Yes, my next addition to the castle will definately be lights. I have already started by adding lights to the kitchens. During this interview, the batteries for the lights had already drained down. A phone light was used only to show the details inside in some places because it was so dark in there without it.
10:25 i have literally never seen anyone other than me (until now) use those giant lion shields. they are VERY underrated pieces. i use them on my front gates.
Building the arches around the elevated base plates with the cave in the center is maybe the best use of these base plates I've ever seen. I also like the gray blue color schema on the outside. I didn't really get, though, why the interior is completely symmetrical with copies of all rooms and the same minifigs in them?
@@edfr5002 Well, it's no problem at all. I was just curious if there might be a deeper sense or message behind it. :-) The exterior should be symmetrical and the good thing is, you would have space for more rooms if you want to build more in the future. Really a great build.
Someone pls tell him they dident have paper bills or chocolate cake in the castle age. Edit: Or bowling balls Edit: And you cant farm Pinapples like, Potatos...
@@Stefoshark Some people are very "particular" about what goes into pieces that relate to some time periods. But as one person said, this is a fantasy castle and I just used my imagination and worked with the limitations of the Lego pieces that were available to me in my collection. Plus, I just like to have fun with my builds.
@Ed Fr no doubt friend i just common to mr 6969 sub..... why so serious? no need to be in detail, lego built in supposed to be fun, and being normal is boring anaway, sorry if i offended you, i'm french some time i have problem to find the good word
Thank you Beyond the Brick! I was nervous, but I did have a great time with you guys!
Ed Fr you should be very proud of your build! Looks incredible and shows your dedication!
You should do a stop motion inside of it

It would be even cooler if there was lighting so you would not have to shine a flashlight there
literally Darth Vader maybe put lighting in the torches

*This is simply wonderful!! I'd like to see it with lights inside* 😍
He is right the flash light kills the mood

Ed Fr
I’m disappointed.
The castle isn’t the one from Disney.
@@thaddaeuswong3574 lol
I love this guy, what a genuine person and a master builder!
Thank you very much!
Trying to figure out if I like the interior or exterior best... just such a great build inside and out!!!
Great build. This is definitely one of the best interior builds I have seen.
Really cool build. And what a nice man too👍
Thank you very much!
Such a great build, just hard to see without lighting
Literal lol - "As everyone knows, witches can fly so they dont really need any stairs" love it - great build
Great interview, Ed! It was a treat to discuss your creation at Brick Fiesta.
Thanks Reggie!!
Lego should definitely do a hunchback of notre dame set.
Imagine having this as a kid.
litterally weeks of entertainment.
If I didnt break it.
I don’t think I would ever need another lego set
I can’t speak for everyone but I can never have enough Lego sets
In a southern draw; "There's genie's up in therr"
Words I'd never thought I'd hear 🤣
I love this guy, really thoughtful. His wife being a librarian, I am dying. Imagine being a kid and having no idea how cool your dad was.
Amazing! If he added lights it would make its Beaty shine even brighter!!

That was amazing this Build is Fantastic.
Indoor fish tank in medieval times ? How do they make oxygen for the fishes ?
Man I'm so glad I saw this, I never thought of using those big shields like that.
That castle looks phenomenal.
This is a brilliant build!
This is so fun! I wish I can do something like this one day!

The prison part and farmers are cute.
Great castle - but is the only black mini figure the guy in the dungeon? Please correct me if I’m wrong…
Classic build! i love it. wow!

Amazing!
The knights leave nightly tips. lol

I tend to be too symmetrical in my builds. That's a fault I have. Slowly but surely, I'm growing out of that.

damn this is impressive and so totally a child hood dream wonder if he will make something new!
I want this lego!!!
Now that's how you do a castle
Looks fun, but not very cohesive. Great ideas for the rooms, but where's the cannons
He's a pro
Demon in the prison very epic
And all of that are built on the vintage knight base plate
Ooh nice castle
Should of added lights inside the castle rooms...
U didn’t notice the
Scan the Nexo Shield
Reminds me of Lothric Castle from Dark Souls.
Awesome!!!!
i like it

Sasquatch
Maybe they are called brickfoots? I just used a name because I was a little nervous during the interview.
0:22😂😂
Need a light system, its to dark
I know that guy. ;)
And I know you! :)
I was there!!!
Amazing build, but it's a bit too symmetrical for my tastes...

6969 subscribers with no videos challenge it’s called imagination
It's a fantasy lego castle... he can do whatever the heck he pleases. If he wanted to put a robot coming through a time portal in there he could have.
why so serious ?
