So glad you uploaded this!!!! I've had an audio-recording of this for over 20 years.
My PM instructor suggested I refeir this video. It was worth the 2 hour commitment, not just for the content, but for the Jeff Foxworthy humor that would be un PC today.
Simply Genius
Took a course with him in grad school. He changed my life!
Lisa Bankston I still use this lesson!
This looks the same generation (snow, loss of control track etc.) that the copy I watched over and over again under the eaves of the Abrams Building in Frankfurt, Germany, in the middle 80's. A most amazing set of insights that I use to this very day. Thank you for posting this.
Why is this guy so obscure? He is hilarious and life changing. His alter ego should be on the talk show circuit. Loved it.
Reason I'm watching this is because I found out about Dr. Harvey from the work of Dr. William Sparks via his book on actualized leadership.
I've been asked the question, "if you had the chance to meet any scholar in history?"
Richard Feynman would be my first choice, Jerry Harvey would safely be my second.
This was impossible to find before this upload I think. Such a gem. Harvey sounds like Arlo Guthrie and just as funny.
GREAT REFERENCE FOR MY DECISION MAKING COURSE
Thanks for posting this. Can you provide any other information - the location, the audience? Several of us are conducting a panel about Harvey's life at the Academy of Management Conference in Anaheim in a couple of weeks.
The guy definitely could've done stand-up.
