- Easiest and most basic way to get easy end game weapons. I don't see much people using this method for some reason, and it's by far the most basic and easy way to get loo! Hope you enjoyed!

When I was playing with my buddies on a public pve server, one of its most known landmarks was a giant 20x20 meter field of wooden spikes near Tacoma we used to clear the horde beacon.

How to do horde beacon
Pro Easy Basic Underrated Technique : kill zombies
The easiest one: put it on the crane in seattle. They can't get up there, and they pile up on the bridge.

This just proves that Horde Beacons and raiding is completely unbalanced. Nelson really needs to balance raiding out with LMGs and horde beacons or else bases are basically going to become useless

Zeta it's not the horde beacons that ruin the game it's the gold characters
JJhotdawg Gold characters and horde beacons break the game easily. It's way to easy to get one horde beacon and get all the raiding stuff you need. This is why I like Yukon, raiding is completely balanced.
Zeta if there wasn't gold characters you could actually kill the people for the loot before they offline raid you
JJhotdawg I understand that and I agree with you. But you also need to take into account of how easy it is to even get raiding materials in the first place. This is why bases on every map that isn't Yukon or a map that doesn't spawn raw explosives are basically useless. The only thing you really need to clear a horde beacon is just one chainsaw/jack hammer. That's it. And you get at least a guaranteed dragonfang and a couple of ammo boxes for it. Raiding is way too easy in this game and it makes bases basically next to useless.
maxed immunity and hardened bonus skill actually helps a lot too. Also with hardened, crawlers won't cause you to bleed.

What about op splitter when you're on roof (it spits on the ground under you and it can get you still)
In Washington, at the radioactive crane you can actually beat the horde using just a knife, you just hop on the crane and kill all zombies and when the giant comes, you crawl inside the crane where the giant can't get you while beating him up.
I'm gonna try a new way.
Basically surround the horde beacon with pine plates. Then a circular perimeter of sandbags having 8 shooting areas, the main flanka be covered by an LMG like the Nykorev since it has 200 rounds and more attachment slots. I suggest a barrel and laser attachments so the zombies are more likely to be hit. On the outside add barbed wire to the majority of the sandbags. Next is to surround the area with barbed wire fences. This is expensive and best to have at least 2 players. I recommend using a Backlash as a secondary and the primary is recommended to be an AR or at least a gun with a good fire rate and short reload time. Why the shotgun as a secondary? Well they are great against zombies and it has the best range. Extra stuff should be a good mix of big storage and good protection. Use dressings or bloodpacks and any 1 slot immunity fixer item for medicine. Lots of ammo, some ammo boxes to refill magazines, a backup pistol such as the cobra since shotgun ammo cannot be reloaded with any ammo boxes in vanilla. Get a nice food supply. What is a nice addition to your horde beacon defense is some storage crates so you have backup supplies nearby. Of course this isn't reallt that practicable but it might be fun to see zombies fall to the traps before even shooting a shot. Only activate the turrets when the barbed wire walls are breached heavily. This will also conserve fuel in that generator. Thats my ground level horde beacon defense area. It is expensive but it is reusable at least.
If you are an admin on a server and theres sentries and traps mod on it, just use A LOT OF infinite ammo sentries. And some saws.
i made one of these used it and mid way through all the stuff happening my horde beacon which was out of reach of the zombies and it just disappeared and forced me to go make a new one

sadly now you also need detonator and in these 61+ hours I played unturned I've never saw it. If it would spawn not that much rare or just not be in this recipe it would be really easy to craft.

my question is how do they get the stuff for it so fast.
the problem is that when you play on a modified hard config you won't have that much ammo especially for all the horde beacon quests on russia (currently playing on anomaly+, a mix of all official maps)

First attempt was trapping myself in an apartment kind of building, then I've placed lots of sticks to damage the zombies as they go up the stairs and barricade myself in. Hahaha well.. I didnt go well.. and Yeah.. Zombies can destroy your horde Beacon as well. Don't let them reach it!! D:

If you have a lot of granades in your base/home use them if you place the thing on the roof crouch and throw the granade at them
Lots of servers have claymores and landmines that have infinite uses so you can just make a base with those

My server has a tower that has one path leading up to it and on that path has a infinite claymore so I can afk horde beacons

Is the loot different on different difficulties?
For horde beacon i use 3 sentries with any assault weapons, barbered wire fences X2, bluntforce and about 100 shells at Holman Isle. Easy to do but harder to get that stuff. Sometimes zombies or even mega can bug under the map and your horde is screwed because i can't find any way to kill him

a flamethrower would be perfect for huge crouds like that.
the fasted way is use a hells fury get the amount bandages and of course a hoarde beacon
The only fault with standing on a roof is the acid spitter does column damage. Meaning where ever it lands it will do damage to the max y axis. Example is if you stood over that roof and the spitter spit acid under you,you would take damage

Aight heres better way to do a horde beacon all items you need are: chainsaw, scrap, tanktraps (atleast like 5), dressings, and a rifle
Now what you wanna do is find a good spot, place tanktraps so the zombies will attack the tanktraps

Acid spitters: shoot them while you can
All other zombies: chainsaw
The reason why you need tank traps and not other baricades is that they cant hit you and you can kill the burners by crouching in front of the traps and attack them with the chainsaw crawlers same thing
Also make sure that theres a solid wall behind you and that the zombies cant get to you
Also best tactic is with 2 people one is using only chainsaw and the second one have highground and shooting spitters and burners
my way: build a skybase (well like, 2 units up), make it 3x3, remove the middle part, get a friend, stand on opposite sides, start shooting.

It means that zombie will hit hard and has the ability to teleport behind you
I have played single player and costumized that zombies insta kill and if I die I will quit the single player and im yet not dead
And I also thought that mega are weak untill I found out people struggle killing them
If youre on easy mode, this is what you need:
1 chainsaw
1 maplestrike or just about any other gun
100 bullets for said gun.

Thanks for this! I play Unturned a lot but I have a potato laptop, so I'm saving for a HP Omen 15" gaming laptop. I don't play many PvP server, The PvP I play are just Arena and creative. This was useful cause when I get my Gaming laptop, I'm going to play a lot more PvP and this helps me to get loot and get better with friends. Thanks again!
Henry LeVoyer some advice. Save your money and buy a pc. The pc will be worth a lot more in the future and will be upgradable. You limit yourself with the laptop and they are really overpriced. If you watch a few videos about building a pc its actually pretty easy and 4 times cheaper!

Theres one time my sister use Maplestrike shoot mega zombie behind and i use chainsaw to kill him so that he wont move at all
The best way: go to order compound
Put sandbags and make a wall in the target practice area

My Shooting accurarcy is 98% so I dont need a Chainsaw ... all I need is a gun and a fuckton of ammo ... I always hit the damn head !!!
