A walk along the Cleveland Way into Scarborough for an ice cream. Funtime on the beach with the dogs. Breakfast and F1 at the campsite. Plans for the next adventure.
Came across your channel a few days ago, and subscribed. Watched a few videos including Barmouth 1 & 2. Came on tonight for Barmouth 3 but North Yorkshire 1 was on the right side of the screen so I have just binge watched all of them. As Mrs Slaw likes ice cream and you both like sweets why did you not call into the sweet shop in Grassington, probably the best sweet shop in Wharfedale, you walked past it. I delivered there many years ago, home made toffee and ice creams mmmmmmmmmmmmm. They always gave us a bag of sweets - your jaws ached but carried on eating them. The site you stayed on was statics only back then if my memory serves me. Good fun up and down the Dale in a 7500 kg Bedford TK. Do you know how many pubs you did not film driving through the Dale lol. Keep the videos coming
I may be wrong but the now Harbour bar used to be Jaconellies( ?) Ice cream bar and his 99's were delicious, my mum used to take me and my friends and cousins at least once every couple of weeks from Haxby, York. Then I lived in Scarborough for 3 years at catering college. Everytime we visit family in the UK we always go for scones at the Clockhouse cafe and then off to Sandsend for a crab sandwich at the Beach cafe( I'm actually allergic to crab so have a bacon butty😂).
Really enjoyed this trip. We often take our beautiful county of Yorkshire for granted. It's often bracing on the coast, but go inland a few miles and it is usually much warmer. Thanks for taking us with you. xx
