I ended up looking up golf terms and apparently bogey was the original term for par and was created in Europe, but the US created their standardized par system before Europe did and decided to name one over par a Bogey. It’s so petty and I love it

It also is not for everyone and I get that. But it is a very good sport and I stand proud with the other viewers that enjoy golf. Keep it up yall.

So ya'll made me do some research. I had thought that Golf stood for "golf only, ladies forbidden" which is now considered an urban myth. (But what was what i had learned oh so long ago as a child). Which is where my sexist comment came from. But shows you i literally know nothing of golf! Why you make me do research on this sport!? ;)
