Red Denim Oxide paint that looks like primer. 18" ape hangers, no windshield, no saddle bags, a solo seat , rear lowered, black King Spoke wheels & 36" true dual black fishtails. My bike flies and I enjoy how you love that much lighter bob with a 114 when you twist the throttle. Thank you for your service~ ( I'm a 63 year old disabled veteran enjoining life one day at a time. I also ride a 2007 Ultra Classic, olive pearl & black paint plus I have a 2020 SSR 250 dual purpose bike )
😂. Just may happen in 2021. Still trying to weigh the options. I was pumped to get to ride this one so early after it hitting the floor. Hopefully, I can keep this momentum and get to test ride all the 2021s.
Great video. I think HD puts those mini-apes on bikes cuz they know the buyers will replace them with something that fits individual style. Kinda smart when you think about it.

Awesome machine, got this Oct 2021 same colour. Have stage 1 tune V & H mini grenades in chrome, memphis shades screen and tall sissy bar, engine guard which doubles up for a forward foot rest, Saddleman double seat as the pillion was like a brick. done 4500 miles now, Going to do some longer touring this year just need some panniers on side, the other bags slip over sissy bar nice.Anyone thinking about this bike, go for it, it has not disappointed me, ok i did think dual brakes would be good but if you pull on the front and press down the backs you stop, had a couple of emergency stops at junctions. change the exhausts this new emission stuff makes stock too quiet for Harley. i generally dont go over 3000rpm and return 55/60 mpg UK 4.55 litres that is. My first Harley won't be the last but it won't be leaving me either, another tip that helped me was to pull the bars back a little to reduce stretch when leaving junctions. Great VLOG there my friend did you buy one?
The street bob is really cool looking,that 114 motor would be sweet to try out.My 07 street bob 96ci with a stage one kit and 2 in1 Vance and Hines exhaust rocks...I love the power of it,the 114 would be badass though.
Harley tries to keep the price down but alot of dealers sell way above MSRP called DSRP plus all the related fees. Dealers are pricing themselves out of a sale. Dealers try to make up sales by renting motorcycles instead of selling at a fair price.
Sarge pull the plug and get the bike I just bought the 2020 softail standard. Similar to the street bob. Except mine has the 107'. The bike is killer smooth and highly recommend it. If you have that much fun get it. My 2 cents would be keep the dyna and get a second bike. Get the street bob. It would be awesome to see more videos with that bike. Hope you get it sarge.
That heritage you have there sir is an amazing Harley and you are right, the brakes still are really good. Night and day difference even from what I’m used to on my dyna.
Just traded in my iron 883 for a 21 street bob 114 Baja 1 in white, she’s an absolute power house, coming from an 883 I can’t lie it scares me a bit but I can’t get enough
Hell yeah, outstanding channel Sarn't! I currently ride a 2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T, just got it last October, with 2k miles, pretty much a brand new bike. Eventually, next bike will be either a Scout, or the Street Bob, or an FTR. I'm a cheap bastard, so my wallet says to keep the C50T and get an FTR, because it doesn't make sense to have two bikes in the same class. Enjoy your ride!
FYI for all of you who can't afford to buy a new Harley ,the Harley Twin Cam 103 from 2012 and up is no slouch, you can tune a 103 with Vance & Hines pipes to have 100 ft lbs torque & nearly 100 hp ,for $2,600 you can buy a stage 4 Screaming Eagle conversion that takes the 103 up to 110 with 100hp and 110 torque,you can then use a Vance & Hines tuner connected to your ecm port to further tune your new 110 CI top end to put out 120 ft lbs of torque and 110 hp ,I bought the 110 kit for my Road King this summer and its a rubber laying torque monster, I will be doing my Fatboy this early spring ,with the Screaming Eagle 110 kits and what I paid for the bikes leaves me with 2 hot rod Harleys I don't have $10,000 into either bike,the 2015 Fatboy I have $9,700 into total and there isn't a blemish on the bike,the 2012 Road King I have $9,200 into and its blemish free except the saddle bags scraped hard after I got used to doing wheel stands on a bagger ,if the high cost of buying a new HD is sending you to buy metric look alike japanese bikes then do your homework & look into any 103 CI from 2012 and up with the exception of dyna's which cannot be stroked to a 110 CI ,I own a 1998 Buell Lighting which for those who don't know is Harleys version of a metric race bike like the Ninja and its fast as hell and handles like the best sport bikes ,with the stage 4 Screaming Eagle 110 stroke my Fatboy will now keep up with my Buell from 0 to 60 .
I honestly love the sound and feel of a 103 better, however if you get rid of the cat, drop in a cam and new pipes this does wake up and sound like a beast!

If you rode the late model Dyna Street Bobs (Twin Cam) the Milwaukee Eight version soft-tail is rubbish in comparison (squeak, squeaK), and sounds lame in comparison imo
Do the fueling reaper 543 cams in your fat bob and itll rip. Or do the 110 kit with the fueling 574 or 594. Your dyna will rip with either of those kits

Thank you for subscribing to the channel and it’s a honor to serve! Wider tires I feel are more stable to ride but also are a little more difficult to lean over in the twisties. Thinner tires do tend to handle better but wider will give you a smoother ride.
I'm really interested in this bike but the smaller tank and brakes is the two things that kills it for me. I currently have a fat Bob that's how I found your channel.

I agree. I like that the cables are slightly longer stock as well so maybe you can swap out your bars without having to get new cables.

What is the benefit of shorty levers??
More personal preference really. I like the fact that I can use only two fingers on the shorty levers without the rest of the hand getting in the way.
It sounds like a lowrider S is a better fit for you based on your pros, cons, and that you'll change the bars anyway.
