Just signed up for your Artist Formula :) I've been on the fence about signing up for weeks because I don't know if I'm at the point where I can really call myself an artist yet, but every time I watch your videos or read your emails, you give me so much inspiration and energy that I felt it was worth it for me to take the plunge and just see where it takes me :) Art is relatively new in my life so I'm excited to learn more about the art world, how it works and how to maximize my chances of success. I love this idea. . . not using RUclips for anything other than listening to old best-selling books. I did the same this morning and started listening to a book that's available on RUclips: R.D. Laing- The Divided Self: An Existential Study in Sanity and Madness. . . published in 1965, so not quite as old as Dries describes here. I love the counter-intuitive switchbacks of this channel. There will always be someone, who is better, nicer, richer, etc. than you, and there will be always someone, who is less better, nicer, richer, etc than you. You are you! And that is very good! You are needed like you are in live! Accept it! Go your way! Than you will be happy
I had the same exact conversation with my sister the other day over zoom, she can't understand why I'm not capable of just being like others and get a job at 50 lol
not deleting but stopping to post had really helped me, all true, i gradually became just so much more free, trying stuff that wouldn't be interesting to The Subscribers™ also, just the freedom to pivot is great, i like trying totally new mediums and that's usually not advisable for social media
I'm curious: how did you come up with the time frame of two months? Couldn't it be six months just as well? A year? And what about those poor tormented soulds who wanted to create all their life but got f***ed so hard by circumstance and fate they never where in a place to actually go for their dreams ;-) ?
The 2 months is very much scientifically accurate. We had a team of 16 scientists doing all sorts of peer review tests over the last decades to definitively confirm that it is in fact 2 months and not the '73 days' as some people like to believe.
