I do think that fountain was never meant to be held, and you are now standing at the base of a mountain that cannot be climbed. I can't wait to see how this pans out
Agree. Fountain is pretty difficult to hold, the smartest thing was to go back to Delve and fortify your defenses and grind us down. I'm kind of not looking forward to it lol.

I like your videos, the perspective is from your side as expected but no hard smack. This is my second war on Goons side, the first one was against Band of Brothers and I was attacking Delve. This will be my first major war in Goonswarm and defending Delve. I love this game. :-)
You sound like an old soul. I was around in that time period as well and was somewhat participating in the war, but as a merc..... I try not to talk smack, i find it doesnt contribute to the story, and also creates tension with my own viewers....or even lose them. I try to comment on whats in front of me, win or lose, there is always a lesson to be learned.

Great video, excellent camera work, good editing, and just the right amount of spin. Pity you will be away I think its going to really heat up in Y-2, that keepstar is going to take its pound of flesh before it goes down.
Again, I am curious if you understand that including that keepstar in y-2 the "invaders" have 60 keepstars to burn through to take delve and.. just in one system 22 fortizars. I don't understand how you don't understand that the imperium login numbers for active members have more than doubled, this war is the best thing to happen to us since we took out NC. Darkness, and C02 titans for the war in the north, or are we forgetting the 50 dead titans? We have the largest war chest by far, to let you understand how rich we are previous to this war there was SRP eve wide on anything you lost. t1 battleships 180million in srp (then you get insurance) peacetime just for welping them and having fun. You have to win, and i mean DUNK every fight in order to make up for the difference in war chests the alliance has. Any fight that is not lost by the imperium at a 30% eficiency is a win. This is not koolaid talking this math is using data from the last 3 years of eve stats. There has never been a fortress fountain, gaining entry is too easy. Fortress delve on the other hand... We aren't a cornered animal, we are the dragon sleeping in it's lair guarding it's horde. And you and your silly little friends just failed your stealth checks.
Awesome video. Init never had any intention to hold Fountain during this war and they more or less made a tactical withdrawal. Either way there will be a lot more GF's to be had.
Y2 was fun except of course for the damn tidi (4500 plus in system 08/15). Was a five hour fleet for me, but got on over 60 kill mails, including 4 faxes. Fun times!
I was out and about so I wasnt there unfortunately. But I heard the tidi was horrid. I really hope CCP reinforce some nodes when the KS fight really kicks off.
fun ??? We were stuck 30 minutes in warp tunnel just to 20 minutes back after a hour we done it again and even when we didnt have at least half people on grid we still some how win cause of masive lags.... basicli total shit fest .....everybody lost cause how crappy server was.

Love your videos, but this one has a big factual mistake in it. As of today Fountain still is not entirely owned by its attackers. There are more than a handful of systems that retain their pre-war sov.
LOL "Fortress Fountain" I guess maybe in the way wooden palisade forts were during the time of Lewis and Clark. Y-2 is like the Alamo, Delve is on a whole different level. Great videos even if they are a bit propaganda driven, keep it up!
Goons have never been without threats for very long. The last attempt to oust them seemed to work brilliantly for a time, in hindsight to me it was probably the best thing that could have happened to them. Time will tell.
That FC made me shutdown the video, we need to send EVE FCs to the army so that they can learn how to communicate effectively in combat. This is the exact opposite.
This guy has been FCing fleets since he was like 13. He is literally one of the best, if battle honours was a thing in game he would be riddled with it. This is why he is trusted with over 1500 ships in the field on a regular basis.
@@AHigherPerspective I don't doubt his skills as a FC, Im sure he knows the strategies etc very well and performs great. I'm just saying that way of communication is the exact opposite of how to communicate in combat. It's also a real pain to listen to. Love it otherwise but I just cant stand FCs repeating 1 command over and over and over and over again. Say it once, loud and clear, people dont need someone screaming the same information in their ear repeatedly. It's also blocking coms for other possible important information that needs to be said.
@@joakimjohansson1719 I hear you. I've been in the Airforce for 19 years with a few deployments. Talking on a frequency like that IRL will get you in trouble real fast. But in EVE, the should only be once voice, and that is the FC, we just follow orders. He's on comms with several other entities such as other friendly fleet comms, their capital fleet, our capital fleet FC. He is getting all the info he needs as he is making decisions, we as the player have very little input , and if you've flown with some of the larger fleet that is a good thing. Good comms discipline is radio silence from the line members. Not to mention the logistic wings are in their on comms as well. The reason he repeats is that comms routinely cut out even In 2020, I have recordings of a lot of fights and there would be occasions where a single command is said and I would only hear the beginning and end....this is one reason why repeating is important. 2nd reason is that you as the player are trying to multitask managing your ammo, making sure the afterburners are on or off, looking to see if you're being targeted as the primary and sometimes you just didn't hear it.
Do you really think Delve is gona be conquered? think twice. Goons are everywhere and all Legacy will be in our hands. KVN still our hands has you failed last battle.

O tryed eve online multiple times nerver got into it cause tim and such treyed eve echoes played it on the beta now as alpha klone they made it pay to play as an alpha klone you cant buy at an station holly shit

Command repetition is necessary so that everybody gets the message. Combine that with the need to constantly issue new orders, and it's inevitable that comms will sound hectic.

The objective was achieved and Imperium wanted to take the fight to 1DQ, and PAPI are next door sieging keepstars without contest. Meanwhile the doom clock to anchor cyno inhib continues count down for several other systems. I think this war aged just fine.

And since you're mentioning objectives, as far as i know the objective is the extermination of Imperium yet INIT went back to where they were in just a bit over a month. Same is likely to happen to Delve if PAPI actualy manage to brreak 1DQ, but how that ages is yet to be seen.

Always love the comms in a well organized fleet. You can really tell the FC has complete situational control even when the unexpected happens.
