My understanding is that the church as a community is our accountability. I reject most of the people whom I know definition of covering. I have no problem being accountable, but I do have a problem being controlled. I guess autonomy is a dirty word in the church.

He said what he said. He definitely brought clarity. His whole point was the way a covering was intended to be. He said some people manipulate and misuse the authority. How many times you want him to say it or stay there. He didn’t say you had to use the word he gave the correct context of the word and why pastors and accountability is important so this culture of dishonor and disgrace doesn’t further try to justify their “church hurt” and bleed that onto their followers. 😒

The idea of multiple partners sounds good only in the aspect of pleasure seeking. But the consequences of it would be way more fatherless children, abortions, child trauma, more STD HIV sickness. And even less than it is now of accountability without Discipline. It is definitely a great conversation to be discussed.
