- "My ass was facing life," says Brooklyn rapper 22GZ of Blicky Gang ENT. "That's when I knew God was good."
Born and raised in East Crown Heights, the artist best known for hard street records like "Suburban" and "Where Ya Blixky At" had a close call when he was arrested in Miami on homicide charges. "Allegedly I got into a fight over a parking spot," he explained during a recent visit to MASS APPEAL HQ. "I was arrested for murder. Feel me? Things sorted itself out. God is good. It's nothing really. I'm not one to put my business out there."
Speaking on the incident during his Open Space interview, 22GZ explained his side of a story that's been blasted all over the internet. "What I want people to know is: I had no codefendants," he emphasizes. "So... yeah, THAT way. You feel me? And my case was dismissed. I got locked up. Came home and I checked the videos. If you read the comments, it's a whole bunch of craziness. Throwing salt on my name."
