No disrespect and not race-baiting or gender bashing, but facts are facts. She's a weak and ineffectual Leader and 100% DOES NOT need to be in charge of the force anymore. Nobody respects her. Not the citizens. Not the activists, and especially not the criminals. It is past time to stop with the soft-hands and good speeches when it comes to criminal activity in Memphis.
If the locals are upset, they can call for abolishing or reforming qualified immunity. But that might bring an end to big payouts to families trying to win the lawsuit lottery.
For anyone to think the issue with crime in Memphis is linked to who is the Police Chief is needs to look in the mirror and be honest. The problem is black folks are unwilling to hold black folks accountable. That’s the issue and every honest person knows it. Also, removing the DA should be stop one because the DA and those so called activists are more of a problem than who the PC is.
Did anyone ask the new mayor elect exactly why he wants to keep her on this job? When it it overwhelmingly unpopular. None of those candidates were going to be man enough to fire her and thats the truth. They wouldn't even answer the question.
Keep C.J, and bring back LAW ABIDING Scorpion Squad 15 strong, assign them to EACH part of Memphis neighborhood N, S, E and W and let THEM control crime, since the parents CAN'T control their OWN kids.

Accountability is a two way street yes demand police accountability but how about demanding those carjacking and robbing and terrorizing in the city cease and desist! Too many people that know who is committing these crimes go deaf and blind to providing information because of street code. Street code is fine until you become a victim and then you want someone to be brought to justice! You demand accountability from the system fine but demand it from your community as well which means taking a stand against those destroying it rather than building it up!
