For lumpia shanghai or meat fillings, it is usually round with tight wrapping; the rectangular ones are reserved for sweet fillings like bananas to fit its shape. Light frying will do since you are using canned meats, but if it is ground meat, make sure you use lots of oil so that the meat will cook thoroughly inside. Otherwise, no matter the technique, it tastes the same and is crispy, so that’ll work! Keep on cooking, Mama O!

Next time mama Olga try to cook adobo without mama sita . Only garlic , peppercorn toyo and vinegar. Simmer the pork or chicken in low fire until tender and oil comes out

Mama Olga you could also add lots of potatoes in adobo just add it on the first boil of sauce just adjust the water. Let it dried out a bit to make a nice sauce at the same time it will steam the potatoes you add. No need rice then 😊 just suggestion ❤

Adobo is easy if you dont have Mamasita mix. All you need is soy, vinegar, sugar, bay leave, garlic, onion salt and pepper. You can also try using coconut milk with adobo so good. Try youtube recipe adobo with coconut milk. Masarap :)

Andrei, this is just a friendly reminder to protect you guys from getting sick. I noticed that Mama Olga did not wash the chicken .And the vegetables that she cooks sometimes are not being washed. The meat should be washed well otherwise you guys are exposed to Salmonella, Hepatitis and food poisoning. Andre , those vegetables are sprayed with insecticides so wash them good as well. Washing the rice is also a must .Wash the rice by swirling with your hand and pour off the water. Do this until the water is clear to remove the starch and insecticides. Hospitalization in the Philippines is not a joke. It is very expensive and it would cost you a fortune. Just be very careful especially the fruits because they are not washed. Insecticides cause cancer so beware please.
