issue is dont think the eubanks was refering to the langford contract and he does'nt have a leg to stand on as far as sueing as he pulled out injured and the statement was in regards to vacating the title. the contract issues are regarding the clauses FW wanted in the saunders bouts, FW showing hes just bitter as usual and his prize fighter is gonna go down the shitpan fighting at british level once he loses to canelo

Warren hates the Eubanks personally. Eubank pulled out of the fight for being injured. That's all that needs to be said. And Eubank is way above Langford anyway. The public were getting tired of seeing him beat up Domestic level fighters, ay least he's fighting someone who's stopped Geale, washed up or not. PPV is unfortunate but it is what it is.

Hes been a pro for 8 1/2 years only had 12 fights one of which was a loss and beating a shot Daniel Geale is the highlight of his record. To say that you'd be endangering opponents at British level if you fought them then fighting this guy AND charging money to watch AND saying it's for a world title is a little too much to take for some ppl. Everyone's free to do what they like with their money but I'm a Eubank fan and won't be buying the fight or ones for similar quality. Seems like a terrible business strategy for the Eubanks and ITV

Hearn doesn't have any control over the secondary market. I'm not sure why there's this obsession with it. People buy then sell on stub hub at inflated prices. I disagree with them being a sponsor but Matchroom do not set the inflated secondary market prices. The Eubanks want to fleece you by charging inflated prices for a fight that is a pile of steaming horseshit!

I'd agree with you that it's not 'conning' the public per se in respect that you're paying for Eubank fight and what you'll see is a Eubank fight. But I'm a Eubank fan also and prefer him to fight someone decent and won't be paying for a fight against Quinlan who isn't. Also going forward if this is a success what's to stop him fighting this calibre of opponent forever on PPV? All the big names at 160 and 168 are with established promoters and the Eubanks doesn't seem to like the terms they offer for good fights (Jacobs, GGG, Saunders rematch) so it'll be the Quinlan type of fights all the way unless they make some concessions. A shame for his career in my opinion

I believe the slipperiness Eubank was referring to wasn't to do with contractual stipulations, but rather the fact that Warren had said he would never work with the Eubanks again, and then followed that pronouncement by putting in a purse bid for a fight between Langford and... Chris Eubank jr. It was the contradiction that was being referred to as 'slippery'. Saying one thing and then doing another - as Eubanks put it.
