I’ve learned from the past I’m going to let the bugs get worked out before I add it. Most of the time these new iOS updates will kill your battery life. My 13 pro max is still going strong.
Just updated my 13 Pro 512gb from IOS 16 to IOS 18, and I can say that I made a terrible mistake. Its slower, you can notice the lags when opening apps, the keyboard bugs, the writing lags . It feels like solid but slower. I dont recommend it.
Maybe wait for a few more days since the system is still indexing. Pls let me know if things get better after that, cuz I’m also planning to upgrade from ios 16 to ios 18 on my iphone 13 pro.
@@linhvht not recommended, believe me. Keep the IOS 16 , because the IOS is perfectly optimised for that phone. The IOS 18 needs more ram, and more "cpu" and the battery lasts slightly lower than before. What a pity, I should kept the 16 ... Please, do not make the terrible mistake as I did, I warned you!
@@alexsa122 im fucked lol i already updated. I have noticed any issues yet but we will see, hopefully no issues since i had trollstore on ios 16 and it would be sad to let that go for a downgraded experience!!
I don't want to update to iOS 18 yet I am concerned about security patches that might be included. There was a security update Immediately before the iOS 18 became available, possibly even at the same time, which I did install and had the impression that it was a security update for people who weren't ready to install iOS 18 and wanted the security only. Google has conflicting information about whether or not security updates are included in iOS 18. Do you happen to know for sure if they are or are not? In the update description there is no mention of security issues, only of each change to different sections. Thanks in advance!

Not good.. The phone dries it out more than before. And it has 87% battery life.
