To quote Dream Team's Assistant Coach, Mike Krzyzewski,
"There are kids that believe in Santa Claus, too, and the Easter Bunny. And, now that they've grown up, I hate to burst their bubble, but it was a game thrown. (smiles) Not many people would have done it, and he (Coach Chuck Daly) did it. From then on, he had a way of just saying, 'You could lose...'"
To my surprise, I am still finding RUclips Sports channels talking about this story as one of the craziest stories in NBA History! It definitely is crazy...but not for reasons being presented.
So....this is for all who are stiiiiill being mislead by the MYTH that The Dream Team, THE GREATEST TEAM EVER ASSEMBLED, could actually lose to a group of College KIDS! C'mon, people!!!
